Can someone inform me when did Pak won a bilateral ODI series against ENG and Aus last time ? ?

Credit to England there. 247 is about par on this Lord's deck, but it definitely wasn't a nailed on winning score.

Great bowling performance from the seamers and Mahmood in particular.

Obviously the tyro team came about in suboptimal circumstances, but I think we've learned a lot more in two games than we did in two series versus SL.

It's a fair achievement to beat a talented Pakistan side when England are missing 14 of their first choice 15. Especially when Stokes hasn't really contributed, so this win is down to the stand-ins really. Brilliant for county stalwarts like Simpson and Gregory who wouldn't get a look in otherwise. And Mahmood looks excellent. Presumably Stokes will be giving Morgan a bit of stick over this one, and who can blame him?

I find it disappointing that the man of the match award didn't go to Hasan Ali. He was by far the leading player - not sure why the award generally goes to someone on the winning team.

Yeah perhaps, but obviously I am happy on Lewis getting it. Despite a good series, have to feel Stokes and Woakes are ahead of him at what they do, I don't expect a long career, and he was the main factor in the result, if not the best player.

I think it has been a looooong time. Not in this decade I think. England usually smashed Pakistan in UAE as well. 4-0 & 3-1 victories in last two ODI series.
In England it is even more grim for Pak team.

i had no idea this series was a thing and i have no idea who half of the english side are. they must be pretty decent though because a lot of these pakistani blokes are good players, even outside the 2-3 obvious.
