Such a shame that, Livingstone was looking brilliant. Not clever from Curran, mind you. Why call a dodgy single when Livingstone was smashingly it all over the park?

I know this is just a warm-up for the WC, but this is the weakest lower order I have seen from England in a long time.

Rashid at #9 isn't awful, but the Lanky lads at ten and jack are old school rabbits, yeah.

Ugh, leg side full bunger from Jordan duly dispatched by Riswan for a Dorothy as I type.

Tom Curran shouldn't be anyone's idea of a number 7 and Jordan isn't really a number 8 imo.

No, that's fair. Both probably 8 and a halves in the format. Rashid too.

CurranT's bowling more of a worry though. Just gone for ten and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Bairstow surely should be opening, but obviously if so do you drop Roy down the order? Tricky one.

Zaltsman just said this is the ground with the biggest win/loss disparity batting 2nd in the world in all T20 cricket. Not sure what cut off he was using but hilarious decision to bowl first

Honestly not seeing why Shadab isn't taking the runs here.

Literally no chance of the win, not sure what he's waiting for...?

EDIT: Finally, off the fifth ball.

Judging by the joking with Curran after the fifth ball, he was just having a bit of fun.

that livingstone six today was obscene, don't remember too many bigger.

a couple of brett lee strikes spring to mind. v west indies at the gabba in 2005 and v england at trent bridge in the same year.

Absurd. He got it over a 3 tier stand 90m away.

If he genuinely got it into the rugby ground as some have said and didn't land it on the roof, that's 135m+ according to google maps.

roy shouldn't be a lock for a t20 xi. he's a shadow of the destructive player that shows up in 50 over stuff.
He's a powerplay beast tbf. Rarely goes on but so often gets us off to a flier with 30 (18) or similar. When you have Jos opening with him and often either him or Malan going on, it's worth it for the pressure he puts on opening bowlers.

Having said that, top order options are stacked, so if someone can offer both the blazing starts and the going on, I'd be all for it.
