waqar younis is dreadful, he simply repeats what his co-commentators say, and when he comes up with something different to say he stops mid-sentence and doesn't continue.

Having him and Mark Nicholas co-commentate is very annoying.

Haha i like his accent. I found him really irritable in Perth but less so now. Maybe it's because I have got used to him or maybe he has improved..i dino.

Pakistan have a captaincy crises, they need a captain that can lead them by example and is imaginative. Inzamam is a joke as a captain and youhanna is not good either.If the captain himself can't bat for his team then how can he expect his junior fellow to respond positively??

Um Youhanna made a century in the last test.. That is batting for his team. A bloody good hundred at that.

Has he done much commentating before?

ESPN - Star Sports have hired him and he commentated in hindi mostly for them although he did also appear on Sportcentre India before going home to Pakistan for his sister's marriage.

Being hired by ESPN does mean great things for his commentating career though the same cant be said about the quality of his commentary.

I found it wonderful how Kaneria was bowling. What a wicket of Martyn and exceptional/classical leg spin bowling.

Nothing more pleasurable in cricket than seeing a leg spinner bowling in his groove.

The way Clarke had hit him for a six earlier was exceptional too. Good cricket from both sides. Pakistan is trying hard too.

Pity the bowlers arent bowling consistently. But the team is fighting as a unit and trying neverthless which you dont often see with Pakistan.

Well Shoaib Akhter was dissapointing today, he got distracted by the delaying tactics used by Langer and Hayden.Looks to me that the openers came up with a plan to upset Akhter by wasting time and frustating him, and they did the job successfully.

Loads of talent and good discipline in bowlin shown today as well. Consistency over a period of time is obviously necessary.

Well I have a feeling Ponting's not going to get out some how so if Gilly and Watson can bat with him for long enough Australia will make a huge total..
