They should have choosen Asim Kamal ahead of Yasir Hameed. Hameed is not cut for these wickets.

Recovery on the way, 148/3. Excellent wicket for batting. They need to score in excess of 350 to put up any semblem of fight.

McGrath is bowling a good, probing line, getting Younis Khan in all sorts of problems. Nice contest.

Ian Healy's a great commentator, probably the best among the useless C9 crew.

I just noticed that Langer recovered and is in the side for this match.

I'm loving this! Simon Katich gets a morsel of hope, only to have it demolished... again.

Tell you what, Clarke's not a half bad fielder to have in the side. He's making a massive impact in the field for Australia.

Actually i'm an Indian . I would still say that Pakistan have done better overseas as compared to how they have fared while playing on subcontinent as they have lost to sides like SL and Zimbabwae on their own homeground.Interestingly they even struggled to beat Bangladesh on their homeground.

As for Pak's main weakness, its very clear that their batting is crap and there seems to be no batting talent in the entire country of 150 million. Its very unfortunate as accross the border you will find better batsmen even at club level!
i reckon india to pick players for those club's which you have mentioned that have good player so they can do better againts pakistan in near future.it was shame full to see india losing in there home ground againts pakistan.

Pakistan 197/3. Partnership b/w Younis and Youhana is past 100 already. A very unexpected start from Pakistan. Lets see if they can keep it up. No Inzi, I guess.

Good comeback, 195 odd for 3. They just need to continue and ensure that they are only 3 or 4 down at the end of the play. Maybe put up 300 today.

Well this appears to be a perfect batting track.Pakistan might get something like 325-375 but will find it very hard to bowl out Australia even once on this track.

Ian Chappel mentioned something about Shoaib Malik having certain 'problems' with his bowling during the course of the commentry. Waqar Younis just swallowed it up as usual which probably means that we won't see Malik bowling.

Does anyone know if Shoaib Malik is allowed to bowl ?
Or have the ICC barred him ?
I do believe he is allowed to bowl, not sure.

Anybody hear about Sarfaraz Nawaz's comments about Pakistani team and match fixing? Anybody believe this guy? I find him annoying BTW.

Why can't you ever give credit to the Pakistanis ? They have certainly played very well so far.
