And Melbourne go four points clear, the scary thing is that they haven't been full strength since the early round of the competition.

Craig Bellamy said today pre-match that Scott Hill is off to England next year, which club? He will be a great buy for whoever has got him.

In Brisbane related news Casey McGuire has reportly signed a three year deal with Les Catalans - look for news of a bloke dancing in the streets upon hearing this news (howard)

I'm sorry, but I really have to do this. The current table in Kyle's tipping comp:

1. 76 BoyBrumby
2. 70 greg'
3. 66 Tipping God
4. 64 The Argonaut
5. 63 blazeblaze

A lot to be said for guesswork, IMO. :p

The Titans have now signed Steve Turner from Melbourne and are of course targetting Jake Webster. If they get Webster it would give them four players signedfrom Melbourne, having signed Josh Graham from the Western Force (probably couldn't afford him with the big dollars chucked at Matt Giteau, Ryan Cross, and Drew Mitchell).

You would have to say Nate Myles iss a good chance too, not only because he would probably start more, but because of trainer Billy Johnstone.

Their side is starting to look like:

1 - Turner
2 - Carney
3 -
4 - Graham
5 - Petersen
6 - Campbell
7 - Prince (c)
8 - Bailey
9 - Friend
10 - Hodgson
11 - Laffranchi
12 - Myers
13 - O'Dwyer

If Myles joins then Hodgson would be a the bench player, and O'Dwyer can play centre. Richie Mather is the guy you put anywhere. The Titans also have a few other players signed from the Burleigh Bears (Gold Coast team who play in the QLD Cup for those who don't know) and from other teams in the QLD Cup.

Kevin Walters has been tipped to join John Cartwright's coaching staff.

good side for the titans, they will have depth issues, i mean a lot of players in that side have potential, but look at guys like Meyers, O'Dwyer, Peterson, Friend etc... they have had their moments but have been little more than fringe first graders... Meyers for course played for Australia but he went off the rails big time and even struggled in the ESL!

time to revist my start of season precitions i think...
this is what i had
1 Brisbane - Still some chance
2 Bulldogs - A big chance
3 Dragons - A big chance
4 Knights - 50/50, need to find form soon
5 Eels - lol next
6 Raiders - with a lot of luck maybe, but unlikely
7 Cowboys - possibly, should finish higher but their form doesnt suggest so
8 Roosters - maybe but they look in a lot of trouble
9 Eagles - will make the 8 and possibly the top 4
10 Tigers - possibly, but they could be higher
11 Souths - try 15th
12 Sharks - Still wouldnt be surprised to see them miss the 8th but they wont be this low
13 Warriors - should be somewhere about here
14 Storm - umm yeh good call
15 Panthers - they are struggling, but wont finish this low cause of Souths.

Premiers: Dragons - maybe but arent playing like it
Runners Up: Bulldogs - big chance
Prelim finals: Broncos and Raiders - Broncos maybe, raiders pretty unlikely
Top Pointscorer: Hazem El Masri - should get it from here
Top Try Scorer: Brett Stewart - big chance if he stays fit
State of Origin: Qld 2-1 - go you maroons! 1 to go!
Other Predictions: Andrew Johns to get another serious injury. - we can only hope
Roosters to have a horror start but to come home strongly and make the 8. - i hope im wrong
Tigers to be terribly inconsistent and lose their last 5 and narrowly miss the finals. - looking like a big chance
Souths to be in the top 6 after 8 weeks. - hahaha
Panthers will win less than 6 games all season. - theyve won about that many, wouldnt surprise me if they lost the rest
Gold Coast will sign a high profile fullback (origin player). - Mathers is pretty high profile
Scott Prince to leave Tigers. - gorrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnn
Broncos to again suffer late season failure and crash out a week before the grand final. - almost certainly, even if we get that far
The dally M medal will be won by a player whose team finished outside the top 8. (possibly Matt Orford) - could happen, Thurston is winning and Cowboys are falling quickly
Origin debutants will include Eric Grothe and Ben Creagh. - Grothe has, Creagh no
Raiders to again get snubbed by rep selectors. Moggy!!!! im glad im wrong.

Brisbane - Maybe but look a little shaky
Tigers - Still a slim chance but need to really lift in the next few weeks

Warriors - About right
Penrith - About right
Melbourne - HMM thats embarrasing..

Grand Final: Dragons-Tigers - Still hope
Prelim Losers - Manly and Eels - Manly possibly, Eels HAHAHA
State of Origin: NSW 3-0 - Doh!
Brisbane to be leading the comp with 5 rounds to go and to continue their losing Semi Final record... - Still a chance...
Manly to start slowly and come home strong to sneak into top 4 - Well they started ok..
Bulldogs to miss the 8 again. - Um should've been roosters
Dragons to choke in the prelims again.. - Oh this is a GIVEN!!
Knights to make the Prelims if Johns is there, if not will miss the 8... - Maybe they'll miss the 8 with him
Raiders, Storm, Warriors and Penrith to fight for the spoon... - Wheres Souths??
Another Bulldogs blowup... - Still time yet...
Gold Coast to sign Prince, only for him to break his leg on end of season trip - Half right

Pointscorer - Hodgson to go back to back.. - Maybe if the Tigers fire, although his kicking is down on last year..
Tryscorer - Brett Stewart... - BIG Chance

Brett Finch to be picked for origin due to a Johns injury
That is about the only thing I got right... Except Johns retired and it was a Gower injury.

Jeez what was I thinking having the storm finishing 14th, and I had the Eels as minor premiers and GF winners...

I must have thought that they would struggle without Orford and Bell...

If anything their backline is functioning better this year.

Orford was the big one for me, actually more so that Cronk would be halfback, but boy hes done well and i dont think the form of Inglis, Crossman, Hoffman, Johnson, etc... could have been predicted...

btw you guys slightly underestimated my boys imo. We would be 2 points off the 8 if we hadn't have started off on -4. Not saying that we would have made the 8, but we seem to be going ok atm.

And if we win this weekend against the bunnies it will be the first time we have won 3 in a row since the finals series of 2003.

There is always that...

Our last 3 performaces have been solid though. A tough loss to the Broncos (we still played well) A win against the Roosters and a great effort against the Knights.

In saying that I wouldn't blame you for tipping Souths against us this week, we are well overdue for a woeful effort...
