Turn it up.

Brent Webb will almost certainly be leaving the Warriors though. The previous management ****ed up so badly. Our top 8 players take up 75% of our salary cap money. Webb wants more than he got last time round and he was overpaid in the first place so the Warriors haven't offered him a new contract.

We are looking at Wade McKinnon in preference to Webb.
I would be targetting Steve Turner if I were the Warriors.

He is twice the player McKinnon is IMO.

I thought it was a terrible match, look at the Dragons' completion rate. However, I would never turn down 2 points against the Broncos at Suncorp ...

How well did Lockyer play again last night!? He is in the form of his career, be it fullback or 5/8. Best player in the game atm IMO. Also 70 cents a litre was ferocious last night. After Mason's ordinary performance on Wednesday night, Petro is certainly the best prop in the game (at least for this week). We have some great props in our game atm.

Thurston is looking to extend his contract at the Cowboys until 2009. Can only be good news for them. Thurston will be a long term player for them, may even finish his career there. I think he will also be Australia's long term option as halfback. That can only be good for future origin series.

I don't see the fuss over Lockyer. He played okay. I mean, if he, or any other Bronco for that matter, had played well then they would have smashed the Dragons. However, they didn't take advantage of the Dragons poor security and overall looked fairly ordinary in attack to be honest.

Who is leading the Rookie of the Year competition?

I'm racking my brain to think who...
Matthew Cross from the Panthers i think, Brian Carney is ineligble to win because of his age, otherwise he would be a certainty...

Would Poms (all right then, Micks) coming from Super League with several seasons worth of experience qualify as rookies anyway?

Was Morley eligible when went to the Chooks?

For Rookie Of The Year does the player have to make his debut in that season? You'd be dirty otherwise if you made your debut the last game of the season before and then should have won it the next season but were ineligible because you had played one match previously.

There is a limit on how many games prior they can have played... i think it may be any player with less then 5 games at the start of the season is eligible..

Is Inglis still considered a rookie? If so, it would have to be him. Otherwise it could be someone like Boyd or Eastwood from Brisbane.

naa Inglis played too many last year, i think the rule is something like <25 years old with 6 or less first grade games experience...

There really hasnt been a stand out rookie this year, Boyd from Brisbane could be one, i dont think Eastwood has played enough at this stage, possibly if he plays a lot in the last half of the season he'd be a good shot...
but again i think Matthew Cross from Penrith is the early favourite.

You have to be kidding right!? Lockyer wasn't the one dropping ball or making silly decisions. He was guiding the side around the park beautifully, he can't help it if the players around him don't back him up. If I was a Dragon's fan I would be very concerned. We had 15 men for the last 25 minutes and the Dragons should have put us away and won by 20. Dragons didn't deserve to win.

Good win for the Warriors today. Love it when Joey blows up and turns on his team mates.

We were dominant all over the park, defended superbly and took our chances.

Congratulations to Steve Price as well. 250 career games today. He got a try to celebrate and a good win.
