Reni Matatiua (sp?) called up to replace Tonie Carroll.
Maitua*

And yeah, an absolute joke again. Possibly played under Stuart in the Bulldogs Jersey Flegg team in 2001?

What about Laffranchi, Friend, and Steve Turner?
Laffranchi is a future Rep player...

He is a quality player and IMO is a bigger loss at the Tigers then Prince...

Maybe City-Country, but no further IMO.
No, i believe he could be a SOO rep... Playing with someone like Webcke who has been at that level will only help him develop.. He was always our best forward... Very under-rated...

didn't he already play city-country this year, or am i thinking of someone else. I saw it was him that called up when someone got injuried. Maybe he was 18th man?

Fair enough if he's already played. In all fairness, you can get some fairly average players in City-Country especially seeing the Australian players don't take part, so I don't really consider it to be top flight rep footy.

Remi Maitua could be in for a couple of big hits if the Kiwi's forwards are in the same mood they were in the ANZAC test, I heard him being interviewed last night and he said he had never lived in NZ but had been on holiday here a couple of times and didn't really like it. Understandable why he would want to play for the Kangaroo's, Australia has been his home and the only connection with NZ was through his parents.

Broncos fans: I've noticed that the Broncs sing a club song or something after they win a premiership. Anyone know what the words are? The only one I can ever make out is when they shout BULL**** at the end.

I must admit i was surprised to read yeasterday that Antonio Kaufusi was named on the Australian reserve list for the front rowers, lol I know he has come on leaps and bounds this year compared to the last few years where he was doing sweet FA, but that would be one from left field. I didn't think he was eligible for New Zealand as well, I always went on the impression by his name that he has a Tongan background.

Adam Blair was bit of a bolter for New Zealand as well. It is interesting story regarding him as the Storm thought tough and nail for him for over three months with the Warriors and their recruitment man Peter O'Sullivan made a couple of trips to NZ to meet him and his family to convince him to join the club. Turns out he flies at least 170,000km a year just to find out the best young players.

Say what you like but that is committment!

Rightfully so as well.
