I watched my recorded NRL scoreboard and finally saw what everyone was whinging about with the King disallowed try.

Until then I thought it was clear cut knock on from Hoffman, but after they slowed it right down you can see Hodges' left hand over Hoffmans forearm. Hadn't seen it that close up before. Bad luck Melbourne, but Brisbane are still premiers.

I saw that too after being so adamant on Sunday night that it was a knock-on. Had to admit I was wrong.

I loved Warren's argument about the quality of the Video refs television. All be it a bit silly, he does have a point.

Yeah mate, couldn't stop laughing, especially after his reaction after the 3rd kick he missed and his team mate's reaction behind him. Were all those in one match?

I think they were. I couldn't stop laughing at the animation, and then all the cynical comments Warren was getting from the panel. Classic television.

It is sooooooooo much better than the footy show. They actually talk about the football and do it in a humourous way. Freeman is an absolute champion. He's always got a gripe about something.

Freeman's the worst of the bunch IMO. He's entertaining, but only rarely does he say something that I agree with or find particularly insightful.

Yeah, he's the Paul Harrigan of the panel.

i find the fox guys (Daley and Smith aside) quite painful to watch. Pearce just cant string three words together, Freeman is just a fool, how he ever got a gig on TV ill never know...

BARNES OUT
Haha I was at an APL event during the prelim finals at Shoalhaven Ex-Servos club in Nowra and met Gary Freeman (why he was there I don't know :|). I told him to give Warren hell. I love it when they argue, it's funny as.

Titans arent anywhere near as good as people are making them out to be, Prince, Webster and Bailey quality players, Carney and Mathers very good, outside of that they have signed a whole bunch of fringe first graders most who weren't good enough to play for their club this season...

edit: Campbell isnt the player he was...
What about Laffranchi, Friend, and Steve Turner?

Laffranchi is reasonable, hardly world beating, Friend pretty average and Turner has been good on the end of a hot backline, hes not that great...

Rugby League ability in his career?

Anyway the Broncos will rest up to 10 guys for the World Club Challenge, so that means St Helens or whoever else wins the ESL GF will have already have won.

I see this a pretty meaningless match, why don't they come down here for a change? Or they worried they will get trashed?

2 Michaels
3 Eastwood
4 Stagg
5 Kemp
6 McConnell
7 Perry
8 Kenny
9 Ennis
10 Hannant
11 Parker
12 Thorn
13 Carlaw
Reserves
14 Moon
15 Vaeau
16 Green
17 Muckert

Probably didn't realise it if it is.

I still can't believe Brisbane won a Premiership with Shane Perry, with all the critism of him I never would have expected it.

LOl the 1st is probably to wind up Goffy, IMO Friend has been pretty handy this year when he has come off the bench and has done well when Smith hasn't been able to play (ie due to Origin), and Turner has always showed his potential and ability even before the likes of King and Inglis really shone.

Laffranchi's an alright first-grader at best, Friend is decent, and Turner's a good finisher.
