I don't have a wife yet Smellyrag but I will in about 6 months and she knows she'll see the the back of my hand if she ever asked me to do the ironing.
How's your love life?
All this tough talk about hitting your wife around is your style aye, give her a good smacking everytime Lee bowls a bouncer.

Me have a love life, no way that would take up too much drinking time.

:D

You were at the ground though Somerset. On TV, with the benefit of the replay it was quite obvious the Hussey catch was not a catch and that Lee bowled a beamer to McCullum not to mention a plumb lb from Vettori on Clarke but apart from that the Aussies outplayed us.
Shame that all the dubious calls have gone with the Aussies every time this year
You must be kidding. All the dubious calls? There were plenty of dubious calls going both ways in the first match, and Martyn looked like he may well have got an inside edge when he was given out today... indeed I believe you said so yourself, didn't you?

The umpiring was pretty much spot on today, I thought.

Nah, bouncers are alright but when he bowls a beamer you should see her cower

Yeah Martyn was sawn off, I'll admit that. I've got a selective memory when it comes to Australia

I must say i got a laugh when i read this on cricinfo's profile of Daryl Tuffey:
"World cricket's first-over specialist. Daryl Tuffey has developed an amazing penchant for taking wickets in the first over he bowls, both in Tests and one-day internationals."

No, the UK is too busy showing more high profile matches than the World #1 vs. World #2. I mean, South Africa vs. Zimbabwe is prime entertainment and the series will surely be close and thrilling.
More people will watch that owing to the timing.

Also think of the cost of the rights.

Keep this up and we may not need Tuffey at all... nor too many Astle/Macca overs...
Erm, surely by definition if you didn't need Tuffey any more you had to have 18 out of the other 2?

They've been exposed to him on and off the field. McCullum's reaction was enough to suggest it was something they had been wary of from him
:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

thats terrible.... youve talked to McCullum have you?? off field exposure too you say? hahaha youre making a fool of yourself here.

was I wrong in detecting a foot fault no ball off the Fleming wicket?
Well you're the first person to mention it, and judging by the way people have complained when decisions have gone against them in this thread so far, I'd say you might have been.

Definitely sore lose syndrome.

Didn't see any complaints when Martyn was dismissed.
