It's not absurd at all. Bowlers with better strike rates take wickets when they bowl lots of overs too.Haha what? Isn't it already well established that Copeland does take wickets when he bowls lots of overs? Hence his high WPM ratio? Ridiculous assertion on your part.
and now a well deserved drinks break.Ryder smashing beers in the carpark, you say?
Better than P-Siddy?To the Copeland fans/everyone, what type of Test Cricketer would you expect him to be if given the opportunity? Would he have a high wickets per match rate in Test Cricket? Would his economy rate be superb? What do you think he would potentially average?
I'm not missing that fact at all mate. Taking wickets in Shield Cricket is not taking wickets in Test Cricket.I never said anything to the opposite effect.
You're missing the fact that Copeland takes more wickets than the other bowlers on a game to game basis and he concedes fewer runs in doing so. That he takes slightly longer is the only down side.
You say in a 5 man attack you can have him keep it tight while the others take wickets, it's st00pid. He keeps it tight and takes wickets at the same time, that's kind of the point.
Basically I disagree with basically everything you're saying and your logic is flawed
Interesting.....So the NZ team:

Beer needs a cold one also. Century up for him.100 for BFJ! Get that man a cold one.
Watling has that 150 too. Boult got 11/144 in his last two home matches.Interesting.....
