We have to get through the next 11 overs and make the target no more than 70 off 10 with the Seth Efrican still at the crease. From there it's ours to win - but there's 65 balls between now and that hypothetical situation, and I think Australia seem sure to strike again in that time.

i hope gillespie doesn't bowl all 10. if ponting wants kasper to bowl at the end, he should be shot

Watson sometimes bowls at the death, i don't know what would be worse, Gillespie 10 or Kaspra or Watson at the depth

Don't think Ponting has done too much wrong with that one (the lack of slip for the nick off Pieterson). It's pretty ambitious to have a slip in at this stage, especially when KP could turn it on so quickly and change the game. Taking out that extra fieldsman from the ring is a pretty big risk.

No way - Aus 80-85% for me now.
England still have a very good chance, Australia were in roughly the same position at the same stage.

How capable is Solanki (or Jones, for that matter) of scoring quickly as soon as he comes in? If KP gets out with the RRR much over 6, then I wouldn't back Vaughan to see them home; otherwise it's very much a close contest.

Hehe, Pietersen missed out on a wide there. Just stood outside leg and let it hit him on the pad, then couldn't run off it because he didn't offer a shot. I guess he was just protecting his stumps, but curious nonetheless.
