australia just in front. at the rate he was scoring, vaughan's wicket was pretty insignificant. with kasper still to bowl some, it's KP that the aussies have to watch out for
I'm backing Kasper to come good at the end today

It's going to be interesting to see how this MotM popular vote works out. Even if Australia win, I suspect an English player (probably Harmison) will get MotM. Not that he doesn't deserve it, mind, but if it were decided in the normal fashion it would probably be a player from the winning side who gets it.
the two front runners the MOM award are the Durham boys

If the Aussies win, Hussey's got to be MOM, his innings was just what Australia needed under pressure

Nah it was a leg break so it had to pitch outside off stump or on the stumps. Chinamen spin it back into right handers
Yeah, you've got me there. Haha, I'm starting to wish that I waited till they replayed it before I made that post :D

No tiny hint of spite and demeaning tone in that post at all, though?

Yes, but the MotM is decided by popular vote in this series, which is why I don't think an Australian will win it.

GO Jones out as i type, Hogg should be in the running for MotM really.

Good to see the Poms losing the faith so quickly. 85%, Neil? On current form?
Neil's pessimism is tinged with a touch of realism - and a huge amount of respect for the Australian team who seem to have found their professionalism. Yesterday was pathetic, today it's down to business.

Jones goes now. Silly.

And that's 95%. Geraint's hoik finds Martyn on the long-off ropes.

Nath's one wicket off proving the law of averages.

This is rather ridiculous of ESPN Star's part. Star Sports is currently airing a programme called "Super Doubles", but not showing live coverage from the match. Absolutely hebetudinous.

It's all on the Essendon boy now, these two need to stay in till 45 by mine. Making it very hard for themselves here, England. Unnecessary by Jones.
