Gilchrist still lacking that big innings from this series.
& rightly so! Wish I could do that more often!BoyBrumby said:Punter clearly expecting a wicket then....
Mouth, meet foot.Mister Wright said:That could be the break that Gilchrist has needed all series. Look out England.

Did you notice there was a 'could' in that statement LE.

Apples, Oranges...PY said:I thought more Richard.
And wide.Jono said:England bowling far too short.
It took 4 innings for the power plays not to be used up in the first 20 overs.Jono said:Powerplay 1 over and done with, and the field spreads with Giles coming on to bowl.
Are you MAD????Barney Rubble said:Five bowlers used in the first eleven overs. Powerplay 2 not taken straightaway, this could be dangerous later on if wickets are still in hand. Australia really in command here.
I never said Vaughan should have contemplated NOT taking the Powerplay!!luckyeddie said:Are you MAD????
No-one in their right mind, with Australia going on at better than a run a ball and with just 220-odd the target, is going to say 'more of the same, lads'.
Prediction - Tuesday to be the last time we ever see 'super subs' in the current guise in an international between England and Australia. It's a badly thought-out concept (you would expect that from Angus Fraser, of course) and only offers further advantage to the side already in the box seat having won the toss.
