It's a very slow wicket, only Flintoff has managed to get the ball over stump height, so I reckon England have decided to take the pace off the ball. Besides, it's a good idea to get through a few extra overs by the dibbly dobblers at this stage in order to buy a bit of flexibility later (and the rubbish that Jones has produced so far means we could do with quite a bit of said flexibility).

Would 220 or so be a decent score then?

Langer's average as an opener is over 50. He's also played a total of two tests against Bangladesh, and two against Zimbabwe, while Trescothick inflates his average against weaker sides. I don't think Tresco is a terrible player or anything, but he's not as good as Langer.
And Tresco has 20 innings against Australia out of 115.

yeah he did a great job of running through the Bangladesh lower order who were chasing 14 rpo :p
Collingwood taking six wickets speaks more about Bangladesh's ability than Paul Collingwood's

And what does beating the best team in the world say about Bangladesh's ability?

With twenty potential overs from spinners and so on, Bangladesh will be looking to avoid giving up the bonus point here. At the very least, that will mean they've made a game of it.
