Right...none of India's bowlers are anywhere near good form...Sehwag keeps getting out...Tendulkar is injured and they are batting Agarkar at No.3 for no apparent reason...this team is in trouble at the moment...I really cannot see how they can win any of the last ODIs unless Harbajan or Kumble magically find form...even if Sehwag gets a few innings under his belt...

If harbajan and kumble cant bowl at home where the pitches turn like water flows freely through a tap...

India have to stop relying on Tendulkar when they cant have him , and so far they dont need him one bit as stated before by some ppl , their batting is fine , its the bowling that needs some heavy lookin into

I think Tendulkar is not missed so much this time around. If a team posts 280 odd runs on the board and cannot defend it then what can be said.I think the man who is being missed sorely in this situation is ZAHEER KHAN.He was at top of his form and was bowling aggressively.India needs his aggression badly.

Yeah but the main batters (Yousuf/Inzi) were not playing in the series. Also if you were talking about lower totals in two innings then why did you ever mentioned England when they had put up a score of 300 + in the first innings???

Better have a look at your own teams poor performance. Imagine India playing without their front line bowlers...OOps even with their front line bowlers they are getting thrashed:lol:

Maybe India sould bring back Tinu Youhannan,Mohanty and kuruvilla

All?? Are the first two onedayers suppose to be in your "All"??

India is going to lose the series, they might win a couple of games.Their bowling is probably the worst right now, Ajit for one doesn't looks like specialists pacer to be and Kumble can hardly spin the ball.

Atleast they are better than WI bowlers who are third class.Indian bowlers are suffering from "burn outs", too much cricket taking the toll, the same bowler have performed impressively before.

I think Ajit should be encouraged to bowl at full pace, right now he appears be reluctant to bowl at top speed, also India need to include Bangar as an allrounder!

Third class but good enough eh?

Isn't the term "lack of fitness", that's why Zaheer and Sachin are missing? ;)

I can hear the West Indians scream with fear.

I'm talking about the performance of fit players in Harb/Kumble/Nehra..Understand??

You should better get used to hearing screams because during the long Ashes series, all you will be hearing is Screams of English players:frog:

India is facing an uphill task to stay in this series. Unless the bowlers and fielders pull up their socks and perform, the series might be lost by the 5th one day itself.

I reckon we bring in Irfan Pathan and L Balaji, just look at my other post in the Srinath Thread.

If not Mohanty is a much better choice then Nehra, Mohanty had a wonderful WC 99, maybe he can be called up for WC 2003 as South African conditions are suited to his bowling.

Agarkar when he came on was an awesome bowler, I loved his aggressive attitude, thats why he got 50 wickets in only 23 games at a strike rate of 23, but ever since then Injuries and a loss of form has affected him so much, and you can tell he is lacking confidence and the passion to play cricket for India.

Bowlers who i would like to see get a look in:

Lakshmipathy Balaji
Irfan Pathan
Debashish Mohanty
Thiru Kumaran
Laxmi Ratan Shukla
Subroto Banerjee

these guys are very good pacers and are all young, with the exception of Subroto Banerjee ofcourse.

Great start by India in 3rd onedayer

U fool, this series is a 7 match one, and no body beats India in India except teams like SA/Aus.Two fluky wins by WI means nothing, at most WI will win one more match and thats it!

Good start by India in 3rd onedayer,WI 37-1 i can bet India will beat the WI in this match as India will be chasing and they are the king of chase.

Ajit goes for 14 runs in his first over. Hahaha:lol:

Funny thing about Indian allrounders.Agarkar can't bat, Bangar cannot bowl, Yadev is hopeless in all departments, yet they all are allrounders:lol:

look at the bowling figures:
Srinath 6 0 24 1 (2nb)
Nehra 7 0 40 0 (1w)
Agarkar 2 0 22 0 (1w)
Yadav 2 0 14 0
this is what you call a typical indian bowling figure.

Huh? The score board read 130-3, half of the specialists batters are already back in the Pavilion.:frog:, and Wi have a long long tail, atmost India will be chasing a score of 250, and knowing India they will do that with atmost ease!!
