They will be tested?? It didn't appear so. Or maybe I was watching the wrong game.:lol:

Another pathetic performance by the indian bowling department and disappointing bowling figures by:

Agarkar 7 0 47 0
Nehra 10 0 67 0
Harbhajan Singh 6 0 35 0
Kumble 6 0 33 0

India needs to improve a lot in that department.

They hardly look specialist at the moment. I doubt it that India will be going places in the world cup with such an 'attack'. They looked completely clueless against the adventurous west Indian batting. I dont think any Windies batsmen found it difficult to wallop the bolwers around. It was a sorry display by the Indian bowlers, they'll have to sort out their act pretty soon or it will cost India/

And Dravid is taking the heart out of his own bowlers take hm off !

Now where do world ratings go from here on in ? If West Indies were to win this series that would be a most inconvenient result !

Well... not bad for a "useless" team that's "not worth mentioning", away from home, too...

Sorry, but I'm loving every minute of these WI wins :D

What are the excuses going to be, and we've established that missing players isn't a valid one (Champions Trophy...)

Maybe we should bring in Yohannan :lol::lol:...Hang on...where is WarriorYohannan? Oh well actually I enjoy the silence :D Seriously I think Kumble must be dropped soon, he is not bowling at all well.

The Indian bowlers didn't do too well but the West Indians did bat just fairly well, I think.

Credit be given where credit is due, WI batted well again!

They better not give excuses..... this Indian bowling needs to be fixed or else its going to be the same story all through this winter.

And i am enjoying reading ur posts without having to bear watching that comical face:D

I have never advocated for the inclusion of Tinu in onedayers. As for India's performance, all their bowlers (san Nath) bowled poorly. However we aren't like Brits who keep whinging over the absence of Injured player whenever their side get thrashed.
Fact is that India is a temperamental side and can't maintain the consistency like the Aussies, still the series isn't over and India can make a comeback

Is Agarkar now classed as a specialist bowler then?

Only Srinath has reasonable figures here, and I guess his 4 overs are the key to the match now... [/quote]

Ajit is primarily a pacer who can bat a bit, a few innings here and there doesn't make him an allrounder really

I've just heard that the 2nd ODI was disrupted because of some of the crowd throwing stones / rocks onto the field!!!!

what's the story with this - was it directed at anyone / team in particular????
For some reason I got the impression it happened during the WIndies innings - so was it a sign of discontent with the Indian performance????

You should know better..............

The first match had serious trouble. The second one had minor trouble at the end. If the Indian board is to go with Gavaskar's advice then I dont think cricket will be possible in India ! somethings happening at every ground.

Seeing Agarkar bowl, his problem (stemming from a lack of confidence) is that he's dragging his shoulder down, consequently his length is suffering. He's bowling it too short and doesn't look any where near where he started . Kumble is looking awful, no spin and no bite (India could do better with a medium pacer here !). Harbajhan is struggling as well, dont know why ?!!

India will recover in ODIs. They will take all the last ODIs

I wonder if England and Pakistan are in a race for making the lowest ever score in test cricket?

Do you mean last two or three ODIs but i think that will be too late by then because the series would be long over

Probably based on India being the Greatest Side in the World..

Re: Crowd Trouble. It's the too-usual situation where people go to matches to see India win rather than see a Cricket match, and if this doesn't happen, they riot.

Re: Lowest Test Totals

26 New Zealand 1954/55
30 South Africa 1895/96 & 1924
36 Australia 1902
42 India 1974
45 England 1886/87
51 West Indies 1998/99
53 Pakistan 2002/03
63 Zimbabwe 1999/00
71 Sri Lanka 1994/95
90 Bangladesh 2001/02

England and Pakistan have got some way to go yet...

I read somewhere he's being thought of as a batting all-rounder now.
