I hadn't seen the reports from the first match re crowd behaviour until after my earlier post......

There must be major concerns in the Indian camp re lack of form of their bowlers re the upcoming tests!!!!

suddenly mir is short of stats about world record 2 innings total !!! How convenient !!! Looks like his drawer has burned !!!

soon the year will end. FOR this year [not for stupid 3 or 5 or - 15 years - as in eyes of some pak fans] it will be time to rank the best team of the year. any predictions? must be based on this year's performance or may be last 15 months or so.

sure, The nonindian bowlers like from Pak, Oz, England, SA etc. have never given away 300+ runs or had crowd problems. I am sure they are born from fallen angels.

This is an absolute shame..... these thugs that come to the cricket field to create trouble are going to kill Indian cricket if its allowed to go on in this fashion.

India was in an excellent position with Sehwag in the middle of one of those purely destructive innings of his, and some scoundrels throw bottles in the field hitting Drakes to screw up a thrilling match. I so wish that these people are hanged for this. :(! :(!

I am increasingly getting sorry for Pakistan. I doubt there would have been more trouble in Pakistan then we have had in India in the last three matches. Anyhow, its appaling to see such scenes. Be it India or be it Pakistan.

This is one of those instances where majority and minority hold no weight and whatever a minority do, the punishment and consequent humiliation holds true for everyone. But its amazing how a string of incidents have been happening, I am sure this has not been seen before in cricket atleast. Three consecutive matches have now been disturbed and you could understand Michael Holdings frustration today when he says that standing around and saying this and that will not do....and example will have to be set to teach people that such behaviour ultimately tarnishes the image of their own country. And it is Not something to be proud of.

I can understand(not accept) angry crowds when Indian is on the verge of losing or struggling or something like that:(!. Today, Indians were absolutely coasting to victory chasing a mammoth 301 and they behave like this:(!. Crowd violence had always been random and confined to certain venues in India. This is unprecedented and starting to look like a weird pattern between 3 totally unconnected venues. Very strange and disturbing:(.

I doubt Pakistan are jealous, they just won a game against Zimbabwe because of their bowlers...India just won their 1st game of the series 3 matches in...and it was purely because of their batsmen.

Pakistan are a better side than India because they have both batsmen and bowlers who can win matches, India only have Batsmen...Srinath, Kumble and Harbajan seem to have destroyed the opposition a few times then decided to never do it again. Kumble's problem is obvious, he doesn't turn the ball other than when he bowls a googily and Harbajan spins it but doesn't get any drift and is much easier to play if a team is prepared to attack him...

India may have won but don't get on your high horses, you are 2-1 behind now but your still behind and to come from behind is much harder than you think.

There are some reports circulating around that maybe the crowd trouble was engineered by bookies as a huge amount of money was put in for a WI win and when India looked like winning the match they decided to create trouble and stop the match.Only thing was that they had not thought of D-L coming into play.

Sounds a little far fetched....but who knows.

Yeah, I saw that report too. When such huge amounts of money are involved, stranger, shadier things have happened. It is a possibility.

Crowd trouble - can't remember 3 consecutive games having it, with one game abandoned and 1 nearly abandoned because of it. It is inexcusable IMO and your post utter tripe.
