Kaif 50 :-) Once again in pressure situation Kaif delivers. I want to see those people who wanted him out of the team last week.

Just looking at Cricinfo.....Can't believe Harbhajan is scheduled to come in next on their scoreboard, surely this is a mistake with Mongia there.

Even if Mongia correctly comes in next, I couldn't help notice how thin India are down the batting order, seems like a very long tail....

Mongia averages 27 and then you have....

Harbhajan averaging 11
Balaji 12
Zaheer 12
and
Kumble 10
It should be

Kumble
Balaji
Zaheer
Harbhajan

I hope Dravid shows more sense than Ganguly in how the last four are placed in the order.

Kumble is no bunny. He has 6 first class centuries.

Forget the averages. Just look back and see how much Kumble, Balaji and Zaheer have contributed in THIS series.

just curious, have you been watching the game at all?
Dude, I am not the one who claimed that Subcontinent pitches are Flat TRacks and ODIs are played on Flat tracks all over the world. As for watching the game, It doesn't matter, I have already given my opinion on the pitch. Scroll up and read.

Dude i am not the one who doesnt speak english....
if you can show me where exactly ive said that EVERY subcontinental wicket is a flat track, i will give up watching cricket.
as far as you watching this game is concerned, well either you havent been watching too well or you have absolutely no understanding of the game, if you couldnt decipher for yourself that based on the wicket, taking it slow and trying to rebuild was the perfect thing to do. instead of scoring at 6 runs an over, which would be good if you had a death wish at 26/3.

Rather 78 in 88...

Interestingly poised match, this.
Superb mature knock by Kaif. If he had stayed put, any kind of score was possible.

Come on Mongia. Lets see some of your England form :)

Kaif's worth in the team was proven today. He might not be slogging material/scoring from the word go type, but in sticky situations and where rotation of strike matters he is twice the player Yuvraj is.

And when did I claim that you said 'EVERY' wicket in subcontinent is a flat track ?

Here is one of your claims in some other thread :-

"... its clearly obvious to everyone, that india produces far more flat wickets and high scoring games than places like england. to simply dismiss india as spin friendly country, even though most of the wickets produced there are either slow turners or extremely extremely flat is ludicrous.... "

If Tendulkar or Ganguly (if he had played) had scored century at green park you would have declared it a FLAT TRACK by now. But good to see you eating your own words.

because by using a single ODI to prove to me that im wrong about something is outright stupid and suggests that ive claimed somewhere that every wicket in india is flat.

seriously, are you out of completely out of your mind? do i have to explain to you the meaning of the word 'MOST'??? just look at this series you fool, how many flat tracks as opposed to seamer friendly tracks have we seen thus far?

and why is it not surprising that tendulkar failed either?
HOW IN THE BLUE HELL AM I EATING MY WORDS? where did you get that from? from tendulkars brilliant success? or maybe ganguly has been scoring runs while hes been in the dressing room?
well done too in confusing tests with ODIs, it makes you look like a real genius.

Mongia shows what you can do even if there are just five overs to go when you come in, havent played for over a year and your place in the side is as certain as English weather

Good recovery by India, i've heard that the wkt will get difficult in second innings, i guess a target of 250 will be defendable on such a wkt.

Thats why whe Afridi said MF to Dhoni all Indian fans noticed but no one said that Inzemam allowed Tendulkar a runner which he could have refused.

.
I wish Afridi get punished by match refree the next time he utter such disgraceful comments, :@
