IF AFRIDI WAS REALLY A GOOD BATSMEN, HE WUD OF BEEN PERFORMING CONSISTENTLY WELL. HE'S NOT A CLEAN HITTER OF THE BALL AS SEHWAG IS. SEHWAG MAKES BIG SCORES REGULARLY AND IS NOT A FLUKE.
When did I say he is GOOD or consistent ? :p

Did you watch the TVS cup where Stephen Flening was crying in every friggin match as the wickets were too seamer friendly. This is no different. It's not just one pitch. If you have short memory go and visit the TVS CUP series page to know all about those pitcjes..
yes 2 years ago! in 3 games out of 10 in that series too. give yourself a medal sherlock, you still dont understand english.

You are eating your words because you just utter 'Seamer Friendly Wicket' in a subcontinent.
yes i utter it, than i mention the word 'most', which again you completely ignore since you dont have the brain cells to comprehend what it means.

Tendulkar indeed scored a century in Ahmedabad.
because that turned out to be a seamer friendly wicket is it? with nearly 650 runs being scored too, and youhanna claiming that india should have got 340 on that wicket?
may the lord save you.

I think one could substitute the name Dhoni for Afridi here and ask you the same question :D
What a brilliant idea you got!

SKA and MSD are two different players, MSD isn't brainless like SKA.With time you all will understand the true potential of MSD

Just one failure and you are quick to attack him :@ , he has done well at one down slot, better let him continue to bat at one down slot.
On the contrary, it is just 1 success and you've raised him to God-like status.

Yeah, I completely agree.

...No, really.

Because it does take a brainless coot to score the fastest ODI century ever.

L :p L and howmany centuries did he scored aftar that? why has he been dropped from OD team time and again?

The guy has talent but he doesn't put his mind on the game, if you can't realise this then what can i say.

Sorry, I just expected Gilchrist-like class from this guy. I`m bitterly dissapointed.

How old are you out of interest?

Why does it seem like the Indian batsmen start to slog and accelerate a few overs too late in every match? Instead of hitting aggressively in the last 6 or 7 overs (with wickets in hand especially), they start hitting aggresively in the 48th over, and don't even do a good job of that. Apart from those two sixes from Mongia and Dravid's boundary of Iftikhar's short-pitched crap, they didn't do much big hitting. India should've made 260 at least. The final over should've gone for at least 10 runs considering so many wickets were there ... Regarding the lineup, Kaif really needs to be promoted and Yuvraj needs to come at #6 with eiether Laxman or Ganguly returning to the squad at some point.

Sehwag, Tendulkar, Kaif, Dravid, Ganguly, Yuvraj, Dhoni
..... OR .....
Sehwag, Tendulkar, Laxman, Dravid, Kaif, Yuvraj, Dhoni

He scored two more centuries and twenty-five half-centuries at a strike-rate of over 105.

Pretty silly, no guy has scored every time he walked into bat, whoever expect something like that from anyone lives in fool's paradise.

Thats a laugh :p , you were quick to poit out his S/R but shyed away from his average?

3 centuries for an opener (he has played more than 70 perecent of his matches as opener) who has played nearly 200 matches isn't great!

If Afridi had been doing great as a batter, he would have never been demoted to 7th slot.

India scored 158 in the last 25 overs. Thats not bad considering they were 50 something for loss of four batsmen which included all their four big stroke players, Sehwag, Sachin, Dhoni and Yuvraj.

They cant be faulted for starting late but you are right about the batting order. We need some big shot players lower down also. Maybe, Kaif should go above Dhoni AND Yuvraj. With Yuvraj at six and Dhoni at seven, India should be fine.

Also, unfortunately, Pathan has been bowling badly. Otherwise. After Dhoni at seven, Irfan, Balaji and Zaheer at 8,9 and 10 can score some quick runs too. I like these guys (of course Pathan is a pretty decent bat) because they hit with a straight bat unlike our man Bhajji who slices the air with his schmitar and leaves the rest to Waheguru. When Bhajji drives with a straight bat he looks pretty good but than he is so proud of being a "jat" that he has to behave like one. :)

Well guys this match might be a thriller and will hopefully end with an Indian win, that would be good for most of us  .

India recovered from a terrible start, Dravid is reallly the best batsmen in the world, what will India do without him? Indian spinners need to perform today, Kumble has always done his level best again Pakistan, i think he saves his bext for them.
