because by using a single ODI to prove to me that im wrong about something is outright stupid and suggests that ive claimed somewhere that every wicket in india is flat.

seriously, are you out of completely out of your mind? do i have to explain to you the meaning of the word 'MOST'??? just look at this series you fool, how many flat tracks as opposed to seamer friendly tracks have we seen thus far?

and why is it not surprising that tendulkar failed either?
HOW IN THE BLUE HELL AM I EATING MY WORDS? where did you get that from? from tendulkars brilliant success? or maybe ganguly has been scoring runs while hes been in the dressing room?
well done too in confusing tests with ODIs, it makes you look like a real genius.
Juz because a track is not a seaming track, does not mean it is a FLAT track. Seaming tracks can turn out to be flat over days 3,4,5...... Here, the wicket is flat on the first 3 days and then turn in the last two.

Good recovery by India, i've heard that the wkt will get difficult in second innings, i guess a target of 250 will be defendable on such a wkt.
I think it is 65:35 in Pakistans favour.

Afridi and Inzemam are the key players.

If the Indian spinners dont get it right, India is finished.

But much better than the way it was heading before Dravid and Kaif pulled it up.

Its intersting that in the two matches that India won, at least two Indian batsmen scored handsomely. When only one did, we lost.

Today again we have had Kaif and Dravid, will it be good enough ?

I suppose I am clutching at straws but why not

Did you watch the TVS cup where Stephen Flening was crying in every friggin match as the wickets were too seamer friendly. This is no different. It's not just one pitch. If you have short memory go and visit the TVS CUP series page to know all about those pitcjes.

You are eating your words because you just utter 'Seamer Friendly Wicket' in a subcontinent. Tendulkar indeed scored a century in Ahmedabad.

I have a feeling that India will win this time, the pitch has something for the bowlers and i think Indian spinners in particular Kumble would trouble Pak batsmen.

249 looks a good total to me particularly after a poor start, kudus to Indian middle order batsmen for putting up a brave fight :)

Okay, I think we have a good chance of pulling it off. Kumble Needs to get Inzi though. Key will be Shoaib Malik. Someone please get him early.

Even if Mongia correctly comes in next, I couldn't help notice how thin India are down the batting order, seems like a very long tail....
That's a major problem they have - no bowlers who you can rely on to come in at 8 or 9 and make a few runs or stick around for an hour or so with a top order player!

Afridi?? he's a fluke , how can he be a key man??

Key men are Inzi,Youhanna, malik and Butt.
Yes but if the fluke gets 70 in 45 balls, that ends the match

I thought Yuvraj was the best thing since sliced bread according to some on here!
It can't be me. Keep looking for your pal. Once you find him, you can convince him that Greame Hick and not Yuvraj was the best thing since Sliced Bread. :p

err yes i know.
but seriously seaming tracks dont just magically seam on the last 2 days, they may show uneven bounce on the last 2 days, but unless it rains they dont just suddenly end up seaming al over the place all of a sudden.
many indian wickets though have been 'slow turners' for all 5 days though, even if they've developed the odd rough patch here and there which hardly affects anything.

Yes, Mr. Dhoni has done all the beating he was capable of, and now that the place of Gilchrist is secure, MSD can go back to the place he belongs that is no.7.

IF AFRIDI WAS REALLY A GOOD BATSMEN, HE WUD OF BEEN PERFORMING CONSISTENTLY WELL. HE'S NOT A CLEAN HITTER OF THE BALL AS SEHWAG IS. SEHWAG MAKES BIG SCORES REGULARLY AND IS NOT A FLUKE.

It`s people like you who embarrass your country. I didn`t see anyone talking about Sehwag...

Good luck to Afridi, fluke your way to a big score...

And Dhoni man, a huge score once more. :D
