India is playing a Pakistan team in disarry (no Shoiab, new wk, some young, inexperienced players, low on morale) at home and losing !
This Pakistan team is NOT in disarray and hasnt been since the partnership between Akmal and Razzaq. Those of us (Indians I mean) have not seen that have been indulging in wishful-thinking-turned-dreaming.

They have played well since then and we should not be surprised if they win this test.

Yes India should have played positively, not because they could have won the test but because they dont want Pakistan to believe so early in the day that THEY cant lose it now.

Regarding Saurav coming in at number three. It can only be justified as a measure to try and do something about Saurav's form. As a measure for the team's good, it doesnt sound very right (not now in hindsight when Dravid is gone but before the event).

If Ganguly had walked in at number three and played his strokes and got out (as anyone can) it would have been called, by one and all, a most ridiculous decision.

He is/was in no position to gamble with the series result in the balance.

Its not over till Tendulkar says its over. The game is now tipped in Pakistan's favor, but that doesn't mean Pakistan will win. We still have a long way to go.

Going to end up as a boring draw, with India losing about six, seven wickets and the Umpires calling off the game five minutes early with the consent of both captains.

If Tendulkar continues to play in this mode, its merely a matter of time before he plays one to one of the close in fielders or misses one to be out LBW.

You really have no confidence in your bowlers do you ?

Or maybe you feel if you say this kind of pessimistic stuff, it will bring your team good luck :D

SJS,

The first one. After Wasim/Waqar/Saqlain/Shoaib, these bowlers are a bit of a disappointment. These bowlers don't possess the magic, the charm, the presence that makes you believe things will happen and keep you on the edge of your seat even if things are going against your team. :(

That said, poor poor Ganguly. I wonder where he will go from here?

Afridi! Geez!

I really hope Pakistan can get these wickets... would make for a fantastic series.

Youd hate to be Sehwag and NOT get MOTM aye? All that he did!

Come on.
Younis scored more in the first innings than Sehwag did in both.
Younis never threw away his wicket as Sehwag did in the first innings.
Yohunis scored a priceless 84 in the second knock which set up the win.
In both the innings Younis COMPLETED the jobs he set out to do while Sehwag didnt.
