Neser playing for Glamorgan in the county championship todayNeser should play, he has that x factor vibe about him as a bowler.
I haven’t had a warning but plenty of verbal mentionsI don't think he's had so much as a formal warning yet, just verbal requests.

They are getting on at 530. So Neser unlikely to get a bowl until later on in day 3 or even day 4
Should include a spinner if the pitch is right, Ali has been pretty disappointing so far with a 0/40 last Test off 9 overs 1st innings when 250 was a decent score ie should really not have bowled, and 1st Test Lyon 8-3 Ali was the wicket count, many cite factors as to why aussies won and where England lost it, that is one of a handful of areas (declaration, missed chances etc)Bowled alright and got two fluke wickets. Scored **** all runs. Would hardly be madness to drop him.

Not only have the toys been chucked out of the pram, I've stamped on them to make sure they're in bits.that crashing sound you can hear is the nationwide chucking of toys out of prams by the Foakes fanboys
it's just one monotonous drone about one keeper and a lack of getting behind the team the SELECTORS/McCULLUM have picked, people with a cricket background, and his coaches, but those in their armchairs 'know best'Not only have the toys been chucked out of the pram, I've stamped on them to make sure they're in bits.
I'm a big Bairstow fan - always have been. Over the years he's been an decent keeper but a good batsmen, mainly batting at 7. Last summer he was exceptional with the bat at number 5. I also like the way he plays - always on the front foot, always looking to take the game to the opposition.it's just one monotonous drone about one keeper and a lack of getting behind the team the SELECTORS/McCULLUM have picked, people with a cricket background, and his coaches, but those in their armchairs 'know best'
there are a number of contributing factors to England being 2-1 down, were nearly 3-0 down had ROOT'S drop proved costly, Bairstow missed chances are in there but then also had he not come in, made 78 and turned the England 1st innings around in the 1st Test all the catching of chances in the world wouldn't have dug England out of a hole - Stokes then declared as Root and Robinson were scoring near fifty partnership at a run a ball
England being 176/5 and 150/5 may have also been key factors in England losing by 2 wickets, that and an inability to polish aussies off when 209/7 chasing 281. Bottom line is England could have been 3-0 up or 3-0 down, neither hinged on the keeper, 2nd Test throwing away a good position of 188/1 in the 1st innings was as costly if not more, 2nd innings 45/4, just too often the batting fails - and ironically all the clamour for the keeper to be dropped because of catches he dropped, his batting has been worse since, 63 runs since that 78 at 12.6
as for his batting #3 so Foakes can come in to a fanfare, Bairstow averages 30.77 there, his worst batting average by position bar #4 at 10.50 from TWO innings. The advantage of Bairstow is he also bats well with the lower order, runs the "a catch is worth a billion runs" brigade play down, well actually just are totally oblivious to
I don't think it's about not getting behind the team, it's more about seeing that a player is badly out of form and that player happens to be in a vital position. Bairstow has been an alright keeper and, at times, a great batsman but looks to have needed more time after his injury before returning to test cricket. A summer back at his county club could have been better for him.it's just one monotonous drone about one keeper and a lack of getting behind the team the SELECTORS/McCULLUM have picked, people with a cricket background, and his coaches, but those in their armchairs 'know best'

snip
It’s a case of reverting to the mean of him with the gloves. Nothing more or lessPeople have forgotten that Bairstow was on the verge of being dropped for good a couple of years ago before having a relatively short purple patch
This is simply a case of reverting to the mean
Nah. He was really really bad as a specialist bat for a couple of years. It’s a case of reverting to the mean of him with the gloves. Nothing more or less

get on with the times we armchairs know nothing and only drone monotonously while people with cricket background and coaches always take right decisionsReading articles saying Warner should be given another chance as he made a 66 and plays better when his back's against the wall
They should remember last time Warner went to Old Trafford with his spot on the line, and he had recently scored a 61....
Yep, he got a pair, twice out to Broad in 8 balls. Can't see this being much different
