***Official*** English Football Season 2018-19

It was never a foul, but from the refs angle lacazette looks to be running across Fred and the legs tangle. Can understand why he gives it, but that’s one for VAR
Twas a soft pen, but had a feeling that Moss who was pretty harsh on Arsenal for the first half especially may do something silly to "even it up" . He is a ****ing dire referee.

Not enough quality up front from United, Lukaku finishing was poor while Rashford was the worst player on the pitch.

Its a nice run of fixtures Arsenal have until the end of the season especially compared to United, definitely in pole position for top 4 after today.

Rashford really didn't look at the races, but with Martial not 100% and no Lingard/Mata, we didn't have much choice but to persevere, especially when behind.
I thought Leno had a cracking game tbh, he pulled off two great saves from Lukaku, the sprawling stop at his feet in the first half took a lot of restraint to not catch him and concede a penalty. You just felt from when he pulled off the stop from Lukaku in the second half at 1-0 (think Lukaku took an extra touch that gave Leno the chance to get out) nothing was getting past him.

Leno has been really gun for the last month or so, one of arsenal's best players

Just realised Arsenal just a point behind Spurs now, great

Concerning the first Arsenal goal, there might be an effect similar to a knuckle ball free kick which makes the ball act very strangely in the air. At first the shot seemed to have little spin on it, much like a knuckle ball whilst it drifted in two directions- again, like some knuckle balls.

The 60mph wind probably did it.

He's been improving consistently since the start of the season and is now playing at a level I thought he couldn't hit. Maybe our new goalkeeping coaches are earning their coin?

The only fair complaint about the weather came in this match:

What the hell is he thinking

Can only think he must have been promised a **** load of cash for new players in the summer + the lack of the Ronaldo factor makes it appealing. They've probably told him they'll get shot of Bale as well

It also means Pochettino will almost certainly be staying at Spurs given Madrid and United almost certainly will have managers.

He has to have been given assurances from Perez, the whole reason he left in the first place was because deep down he knew that Real were nowhere near as good as 3 consecutive Champions Leagues suggested. He wanted major spending in the summer and Perez was having none of it.

This season has proven Zidane right.

Chelsea won't.
Nah, I can't see him going to Chelsea. He'd be leaving a club where he's appreciated and made lots of progress, for rivals whose managers have little job security. He'd have a bigger transfer budget, but I can't see that being enough incentive for him.
