Ah no I've never actively listened to it except perhaps some Noel bits online

Cundy was on drive the other day though. Makes Goughy seem like Gary Neville

I only really listen to talksport when driving to and from work, but I only listen to it on the way in if something really interesting has happened the night before, because as discussed Brazil is not all that insightful. If I work from home and am not tied to the phone then I'll sometimes listen to the Irish guy in the day who is decent. Colin Murray is it?

Cundy really is dense, and utterly Chelsea-fixated, Goldstein is a plastic Manc with an incredibly wrong view about how funny he is.

Yeah, Murray's okay, Hawksbee and Jacobs are the only real quality on the station though, and even Jacobs can grate a bit.

Interesting that they actually rarely take calls, so I guess they don't have to be stupidly controversial to get the calls flooding in, and a lot of Murrays show, he doesn't take calls either.

Let's face it most Talkradio is horrid everywhere because of the structure.

Spot on. Tbh I only started listening to it again because I no longer had DAB in my car, nor MW, so couldn't listen to TMS and that was a killer during the Ashes. So I found myself listening to Drive whilst waiting for the Ashes updates and it kind of stuck. Durham seems to have toned it down these days, and his tribute to John King will mean I could never fully hate him like I once did

'Great pass' from Rooney goes out for a goal kick. He's hit 4 passes with one resulting in retained possession thus far.

Ah he hits someone with a long floating pass out wide which can only be headed to be kept in play. So now Rooney is the new Scholes.

It has to be said despite a fantastic career with masses of honours, caps and international goals you get the feeling that Rooney is the most overhyped player we have had in the last 30 years.

Nah, not whilst Beckham exists, and I've defended him on here before, but there will never be a more over-hyped player than him.

Rooney is overhyped, but he has the medals and England goal record in his locker, as the dim-witted pundits say.

Yea Rooney finally did something noteworthy with that pass to Rojo, but he's losing the ball regularly and is barely moving off the ball and ponderous with it.

No way he should be playing in the Euros.

That free kick was actually a half decent chance with the keeper stood on the post sizing up his wall. Regardless of what the ****wit BBC commentators are saying.

Up to two sprints now. Manure's set up is seemingly built around Rooney not having to run to either box and staying in the middle of the pitch. When Manure have had 7-8 men back to defend a throw in near the corner flag Rooney has stayed further up. When Manure are attacking, have a corner etc. Rooney again sits outside the box. So basically if he plays for England the rest of the team will have to compensate by running further.

That's fine if you've got a Pirlo type character who has a great range of pass to compensate. But Rooney? Nah.

I did shout "you what mate?" when Ruud said the media are desperate to fit Rooney into the side for the Euros.

I think the media like most spent the season terrified that Rooney would keep Vardy and Kane out of the side:blink:
