In a way you have to feel for LVG. They win the cup and it comes out that Mourinho is replacing him before they have finished the first champagne bottle they have poured into the trophy. Yes he was always likely to be going and probably knew already but is that the time to leak something like that?

Its crap really, I know United are pretty shabby at times, but from all accounts the leak was from the Mourinho camp probably Mendes.
LVG ultimately can have no complaints that he will be unemployed, but yeah they could have at least given him a little time to enjoy it.
Not cool whatsoever.

An England team without Rooney or Milner, should be watchable for once. Just Wilshere likely to play the 'giving the ball away like a numpty' role - will see if he's match ready.

Haha well I don't take manually to mean pen and paper
But basically how I understand it is, the prem and football league fixtures are done in sync. So for example if Sheff Wed make the prem they would still need to play home on alternate weeks to United so the two fixture sets can't be independent of each other
National League isn't part of this, so they draw them up but then review after the Prem/FL fixtures in case of any such requirements, e.g though we play at home the same day as Liverpool or Everton, they wouldn't schedule us V Wrexham on the same day as the Mersey Derby or Liverpool V Man U, for example.
