Aye, sounds about right on how the CDMs would keep hold of mercenaries like chief poseur. Ashley gets all the stick and chief poseur is hailed as a loyal hero... Premiership football club fans are the biggest suckers on the planet.Craig said:The mind boggles *shudders*
Ashley Cole now saying how nobody gave a stuff about him, and it was all for Thierry Henry: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=378880&cc=3436
Out of interest when is England's next international/s? With Aaron Lennon would this mean Shaun Wright-Phillips will get a game, or keep Gerrard on the right wing again? Since I haven't had the chance to watch many of England's games of late (watched the Greece game, didn't bother about Andorra and they didn't show Macedonia) how has he been in that position? From what I have read it is his more natural position?
How much Sven thinks of Hargreaves compared to how much McClaren thinks is debatable. Not the facts you are referring to.marc71178 said:Sven kept selecting him for squads regardless of the stick he got for it - how is that debateable what he thinks of him?
Bit in italics was what you said..Doesn't the bit before the italics contradict the bit after?
Which isn't what I said.Pratyush said:Bit in italics was what you said..
Where did I defend Ashley? Oh wait that would your paranoia wouldn't it...marc71178 said:I find it amusing that the one who has stuck by the side and signed a new contract is mercenary but the one who had illegal meetings with another club and has moved for more money is defended by SP.
Couldn't possibly be because one is English and the other French could it?
Ah. Ignore the para then. Just take the update part. I see the point you were making.marc71178 said:I was talking about the bit after and the bit before...
The phrase 'Ashley gets all the stick and chief poseur is hailed as a loyal hero' make it sound like you think Cole is a victim.Scaly piscine said:Where did I defend Ashley? Oh wait that would your paranoia wouldn't it...
England's next international is againts Croatia on October 11th so i guess Lennon will be back by then. On Gerrard he has been fairly impressive on the right he has pretty much made it his own ATM. Lennon for now should still be the man to come in the latter part of the game to run at the tired full-back.Craig said:The mind boggles *shudders*

I was highlighting the double standards, if someone had defended both of them they'd at least have a losing argument as opposed to no argument like certain CDMs fans.Matteh said:The phrase 'Ashley gets all the stick and chief poseur is hailed as a loyal hero' make it sound like you think Cole is a victim.
Didn't realise you were that naive.marc71178 said:What do you mean defended both of them?
I don't think any Arsenal fan would defend Cole for his actions, whereas Henry has done nothing wrong and yet you still continue the vendetta.
What has he done wrong then? No clandestine meetings with Premiership rivals that I'm aware of.Scaly piscine said:Didn't realise you were that naive.
