Dirk Kuyt's surname causing all kinds of bother with our commentators. Until tonight they'd settled on "kite" now the ITV-wallah is going for "Cow-t". I wonder if one of our esteemed Dutch speakers could set them straight....? :p

decent win from us tonight, away at Forest (first win there in 73 years i think). Good to see the Rotherham curse struck Ronnie again.

Forest losing, Vale losing. Whites drawing 1-1, come on, a couple of goals could see us top tonight

Can't believe the manager keeps picking Nobbie. Should be obvious to everyone that he was finished years ago, one footed player with zero pace, height, intelligence etc. and has absolutely nothing going for him really except for being a flat track bully - playing a Coca Cola Division Two side in the FA Cup? Pick Nobbie otherwise don't bother.
Funny how when he got a run of games he started to look as good as he used to be, the best natural finisher England have produced in years.

As you already well know he isn't a natural finisher, as shown by him being a flat track bully - natural finishers are virtually nerveless and so will perform well against every team.

Still if he gets a hatful of penalties to take he might score err... just over half of them and he might get vaguely close to a goal every two games for the first time in ages.

Conveniently ignoring his Liverpool efforts when he had an injury-free run there - funny that...

Presumably 98 goals in 3 seasons is all playing weak opposition (including 28 goals in 38 top flight games one season)

The Premiership has a few decent teams but is still mostly rubbish.

good result for PSV, we probably need a similar result at Anfield too if we are to progress...

Liverpool will almost certainly progress although i wasnt impressed by them apart from the centre back, had a negative attitude especialy in the second half which i never like to see and the weakened midfeald wasnt that great especialy Pennant who was poor.

As a collective team, the CDMs are IMO the worse, but individual players such as Ronaldo and Drogba are just as bad if not worse.
The Portuguese one is cleaning up his act a bit though.
