Expected Portsmouth to do decent but not this well. Surely quietens the relegation bug but midtable is most likely. Redknapp is a man who knows how to spend money.
Yeah, Boogers, radachiou (sp), Dumitrescu.

mmmm, Sharapova:jawdrop:

Sorry, was just flicking on Sky sports, so to speak, and I saw Sharapova, a little random I have to say.

Still my point remains, Harry takes gambles in the transfer markets, occasionally they're genius, but he himself admits hes made some of the most disastrous transfers in Premiership history.

Come on Spurs. If United don't beat them, we stay top. I cannot believe we still haven't conceded a goal - Sol Campbell, what a hero.
Just as well I added David James to my fantasy EPL team.

Well you gotta make mistakes if you want to learn. I'm sure he's made plenty of them enough to tell what his team needs.

Oh, his point is that as hes always trawling the lesser end of the transfer market, he has to take risks, he can't buy a Shevchenko or van Nistelrooy, on budget or reputation of club..

BTW, I think the blokes a top manager.

Just saw the howler between Jean-Alain Boumsong and Robert Kovac in the Rimini-Juventus match in Serie B, and Boumsong gets picked in the French team why?

This sucks! For me its either a Black day or a Red day! Yesterday was the former. Hope Schumi wins today.

Come on, the hits far outweigh the misses. He made a £7million profit on Aiyegbeni Yakubu, a £5million profit on Peter Crouch before he was even good, he brought in the likes of Berger, Stefanovic and Sheringham to get us through our first season in the Premiership....and to cap it all off, he's brought Sol Campbell in to a club who were a hair's breadth from relegation last year.

Oh, and you left Paolo Futre off your list of rubbish signings. He was hilarious.

Gotta agree with that. Johnson should get the nod next time although doesn't Rooney become avialble or do you think McLaren will give Rooney-Johnson a run instead of Rooney-Crouch?
Well crouch can't be dropped on current form at least & definately should partner Rooney up front, but Johnson should be 1st choice behind them until Owen returns since i'm not convinced about Defoe at the international level at all...

That's like taking a flat tyre off your car and replacing it with a bike wheel.

I was thinking more along the lines of that one good game and suddenly he gets branded about for a spot in the England squad.

Give me a break please.

Least he actually gets to start for his club side...

Well when a club like Everton splash the sort of cash on a player like Johnson the it would be a certainty he would a lot.

The West Ham-Aston Villa game should be interesting, Pardew said he was considering resting Tevez and Mascherano for Palermo later in the week, even if he doesn't start them I would thin he would have to give them some game time. I hope so since they are in my Fantasy XI.

haha, well maybe but i'd say Defoe has had enough chances at international level though, Johnson should be ahead of him on current form.

I disagree. It was a fantastic day. Nothing better than Liverpool losing, especially if it's to one of "my" teams (read Everton, as Wigan and the Jags won't do it too much).
