Norwood's on Fire
Indeed he would.

BTW Barney, we better minimise our posting in this thread, before the off-topic police hunt us down

Yeah. Mind you, between my taste in music and my stupid new hair, I'm probably Public Enemy Number One already.

I'm waiting to see it too. When I gave up bar work, I was like oooh I can watch MoTD on a Saturday now. Then I realised I was being dumb because I like getting drunk on a Saturday.

I'll keep an eye out for it this week myself.

Any footy tonight?

Don't think so, but then I'm at the beginning of what's going to be a week full of seriously heavy drinking (Fresher's Week at Uni ;)) so if there is, I'll either miss it or not remember it. :D

Fresher's Week? Am I right in thinking you're a second year, and that you're single. Coz if I am....boy are you in for some good times this week

You are right, but you've probably never seen his picture if you think that.

Correct on both counts, but matters are complicated. Accompanying me to see The Automatic on Wednesday night is a girl I've been after for about 8 months, but who's only been single for about the last 4 of those. Not gonna do anything to mess this up. ;)

Besides, I can still get beastly drunk for most of the week.

Can't believe the rubbish about Reyna - do these people know the rules? The ball is still technically in the 'keeper's hands until he's kicked it (and hence why anyone nicking it away while in the air from the hands to the boot is penalised).

When he kicked it he was out of his area. Correct decision.

Erm no - because by that token if he drops it in front of him to kick it from the ground it's still in his hands as well.

I've only seen it via photogrtaph, but even then it looks a shocker of a dive
Only seen a You tube of it, but I can easily see why the ref did it, Mendes shouldn't have got himself in that position and the "withdrawing" is very late, so one could even argue there is intent to impede there.

must win for Watford that, now everyone else has a win. They have been playing well but do lack goal scoring ability.

Martin Jol actually tried to defend the cheating little sod too, although it wasn't the most convincing case ever put forward. From today's Guardian:

http://football.guardian.co.uk/Match_Report/0,,1885369,00.html

The Spurs manager was left to champion Zokora. "He told me he was off balance and I thought he was," said Martin Jol. "You could see he was anticipating Mendes coming in. I don't think it was a blatant dive."

A dive then, Mart? Just not a blatant one. 8-) :p

In other news, I see Rio's covered himself with glory again, calling Chris Moyles a "******" (albeit jokingly) live on air. Guardian again:
