To be honest I'd rather he didn't try Neville at full back any more - players should not be made to adjust that much at the highest level, and also his brother's now fit :)
True. He may have started out in defence but he looks to be better in midfield iMO.

I'd take Carragher personally.
Rio's the best out of the three and if Woodgate's fit he's better than Carragher. He may be a bit more consistent but get Ferdinand and Woodgate sorted and that's a formidable partnership. Anyway I think Gerrard should have been captain. He's the one more likely to inspire his team.

I'm liking the look of Agbonlahor more & more. An England cap by the end of the season. Terry may not be the quickest, but the way the lad skinned him was impressive; left him for dead. Although, with England hat on, it's possibly a bit worrying to see England's captain made to look ordinary by a 19 year old.
Yea he looks impressive so far this season, but i remember hearing that he was still contemplating whether to play for England or Nigeria.

On Terry, i'd say he had a bad game, he's been too good for too long for us to start doubting him.

Christ. Stop moaning. Terry is a great defender, and he's clearly a good captain in the Stuart Pearce mould.

True but I rate Ferdinand as a better defender and Gerrard as a better skipper. He'll do well though.

Last time I watched Carragher play for England he gave the ball away repeatedly, just didn't look good enough on the ball. Can't afford to do that in international football against decent opposition.

Does anyone think Campbell international career was cut short a bit harshly, he is still one of the best.

For the central defenders that should be considered for England for Euro 2008 i rate them Terry>Ferdinand>Campbell>Woodgate>King>>Carragher>>Brown>Dawson.

Campbell kinda ruined it for himself by going a bit off the rails. Think it's time to bring the younger players through intsead of resorting to Campbell.

I'd put Carragher ahead of King with Campbell between the two. He's lost it. Been doing well this season but I think it's time to pull the plug on his international career. Not like there's a lack of talent coming through to replace him.

Browns not even in Uniteds side now, he was always useless, hes getting on now, lets just forget about him please:(

Not useless just inconsistent. Started the season well then faded enough that when Vidic came back he was dropped. Not necessarily that he's awful he just wasn't doing well.

Hes not an England player though, how old is he now, he must be about 27, without ever getting a regular run in his club side.

Hes up there with David May imo.

Fair enough on Campbell, England have some top class central defenders for real. On Carragher i think King is more talented than him, he is better in the air & i personally would rather see him in the centre of defense instead of Carragher in case of injury to one of Terry/Ferdinand in a big international clash.

I think it's a gang tbh, a few too many footballers getting done over for a coincedence.

Maybe they're Everton fans so felt the need for the 'special treatment'. :p

West Ham losing once again 1-0 down to Reading. Mascherano left on the bench but Tezez starting and seemingly playing as a proper striker. I cant really see Mascherano failing in the long run. A very good footballer and i see no reason why he cant play in the premiership.
