Oh really?

And you base that on what exactly, seeing as he's not been selected for how long exactly?
Yo, have you been watching Barry over the past 2 seasons especially this one, the man has been one of the best players even before O'Neil came in & got them into this super start to the season. Surely if he keeps it up between now & Euro he could displace Downing as Joe Cole's back-up.

Since King's been in squads whenever fit for the last couple of years, I dare suggest he's ahead of your hero.
Yea he is ahead but that doesn't mean he should play in the DM position.

Neville is hardly bad though. I'm guessing he's just gotten used to playing well in midfield for Everton and having to swicth suddenly isn't easy i'd suspect but he did ok in teh role.
Well yea he isn't horrible but they are much better players in defense & mid-field, so he shouldn't be near the squad.

Decent game at Griffin Park today but a dissapointing defeat for Brentford. Inept in front of goal apart from Joe Kuffour and defence looking a bit shaky. Yeovil a decent side though the best ive seen so far this season.

& Martin O'Neill goes quietly on about proving he should be the England manager. What really galls me is that he actually wanted the gig too. I know it's early days for a gloat, but I'd be interested to hear from any of the anti-O'Neill faction now.

The man's really a very good manager indeed.

I don't mind him not being England manager :D

Redknapp lauds battling Mansfield
Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp was full of praise for Mansfield after his side's 2-1 Carling Cup win on Tuesday.
"I was very impressed with them. They played some good football at times, and really put us under the cosh in the second half," said Redknapp.
"If they played like that every week, then they wouldn't be where they are in League Two.
"We scored two quality goals and I'm very pleased with how we coped after the break."
Yet we suck so badly against Walsall.

Decent point in Bristol for us today, we'll take that. Building on to better things.

By the sounds of it Charlton were decent today, just think they've been unlucky with the fixtures (just a last year they were lucky, weren't they top about this time last year?)

I'm liking the look of Agbonlahor more & more. An England cap by the end of the season. Terry may not be the quickest, but the way the lad skinned him was impressive; left him for dead. Although, with England hat on, it's possibly a bit worrying to see England's captain made to look ordinary by a 19 year old.

Terry is ordinary, the first terrible decision by Mclaren. Hes no pace, can't play with the ball at his feet.

Woodgate and Rio are the best central defensive partnership IMO, hes got rid of Beckham, a so-called dead weight, and replaced him with a definite deader weight. Gallas kept him looking good with his pace for Chelski, now hes gone.

Not a great fan of Woodgate, shares Ferdinand's tendancy to fall asleep during games.

Well, thats kind of the point, rio tends not to lose concentration do at international level, so i'd be hoping woody would be the same, both great footballing centre-halves. Apparently Bobby Moore had the same problem in the mundane world of the Boelyn Ground.

Still Woodgates never fit for more then five minutes, so its probably a redundant issue.

I had great hopes for Rios brother and Dawson this year, but it doesn't seem to be happening for either of them.

Think Charlton may just possibly have been a bit unfortunate with the Gallas handball. :whistling

Lovely strike fron Van Persie tho, goal of the month for mine. :)
