I wouldn't say we're getting very excited, everyone knows Chelsea are big favourites.

I think we're all looking forward to our trip to the Bridge - if we win there it gets interesting.

Fair play to United, definitely the better team on the day.

Strange decision not to start with Henry tho. Wonder if he's carrying a niggle.

He'd have only flopped for a longer period of time anyway. Just you watch if he plays a full game against Portsmouth tho...

Yeah, and that's not remotely patronising towards a side playing football worthy of the top 6 at the moment. Yes, I know we can't defend that well, and yes, I know we're 18th, but come on. 8-)

I'm almost hoping the chief poseur scores a few against Portsmouth now.
Must have really pleased you to see one of the few true goal-scorers in the game (Robbie Fowler) hit the back of the net (just).

Just a question for the Man U fans on here do you expect Fergie to be fired at the end of the season? Apart from the Champions League failure (although your team was going through the injury crisis from hell but still) and possibily the FA Cup, but you have the Carling Cup and it looks like second spot when to be honest nobody was ever really going to knock Chelsea off?

He won't be fired at the end of the season, no. At least I highly doubt it. I'm pretty sure there was a statement made in a Man U website article noted that Fergie will leave only when he wants to leave.

In other news, the press of the world continue to try to achieve the impossible: Linking Man Utd with every midfielder in Europe. The latest target for Fergie is apparently one Joe Cole. I've lost count of just how many have been linked now.

If we do end up winning the title then obviously not.

If we fail to win the title but run them close, winning all our remaining games then I don't think so.

If we end up flopping then I doubt Glazer will poke up with too much.

To be honest I hope Fergie isn't sacked - he's a legend and it's not the right way to go - but I hope he resigns.

Sorry, what does "poking up" mean?

And do you mean you hope he resigns at the end of this season, or just some day in the far off future?
