Hmm, an injury even more comical than a certain show pony treading on a cricket ball in the Ashes.

Richard Wright going over on an ankle in a warm-up, landing on a board that says to practise on the other specially set up goalmouth...
Absolutely spot-on - poetic justice indeed.

Neil's what's happening with Exeter at the moment, from being second Accrington Stantley and getting beaten quite comfortably (judging by the scoreline as I didn't watch the game) and now 3rd to Morecombe.

This is a far cry to the earlier form shown this season when Grey's Athletic were having a go just after being promoted.
We're playing crap.

Agreed neil, and Scotts gone now!! Whats wrong with Moxey and Clay, they're better then Carlisle and Gill anyway. I always fear it when our managers get money, they just get useless loan players in, we'd have been best working with what we had:ph34r:

Have you actually got a soft spot for Boro, SP, or do you despise all football teams equally?:)
I despise football teams in differing amounts. Not too fussed about Middlesbrough or Chelsea tho.

Moxey = left winger. Carlisle = right winger.

Not at all convinced by Gill, mind. Have much reason to be grateful for cricket coaching to clash with Saturday afternoons, it sounds...!

After some recent good form Marc must of been tearing his hair out or have a beer to console himself after being smashed by Watford.

Unless he is used to it.

And you haven't mentioned anything Arsenal drawing with Bolton, are you sick?

If Arsenal don't qualify for the CL should Arsene be a bit worried about his job? For all the critism Fergie has copped this season, his team is still having a better season then Arsenal are in the league and has more chance of winning something Wenger (if Real Madrid play like they did against Espanyol Arsenal will have no chance).

I'm not disagreeing.

This is the saddest indictment yet for what football has become, because it's tantamount to saying that a club has a right (or a duty) to qualify for the Champions League almost before a ball is kicked.

I was expecting it.

Watford are on fire, although 4-0 does flatter them to be fair. We were competing fairly equally till 2-0 then chased the game and got caught.

Still, the 3 wins in a row prior to that has put us well clear of the relegation battle, so that's better than this time last year.

Err ok, good result for the CDMs. Saw Reyes' early swan dive that got no card as per usual. Do cheats ever get punished in football?
