great bowling by Somerset here, Lancs in big big big trouble
Indeed - it's been Somerset's batsmen, coupled with the Taunton pitch, that's got them this far, but their bowlers are really turning it on now, Caddick rolling back the years.

Chilton bowled by Blackwell, Stuart Law really has to get motoring now if Lancs are going to post anything resembling a competitive total.

Was a lovely piece of bowling from Blackwell, pitched middle & leg and hit the top of off. Law needs to go v soon here. If Lancs are gonna post competitive target it'll be down to the ex-crim.

Much as I'm loathe to admit it Fat Gray has been different gravy today as skipper. Credit where it's due.

par score probably 130, which we should have got if we'd played a bit less cavalier. I just hope we at least make Somerset work for the runs

Somerset will make themselves work - they'll lose early wickets, recover, and then wobble again, then just about scrape home. That's what they always do when they chase.

Why not just send Langeveldt and Caddick in to bat and get it over with? :p

I might possibly be the only guy in Somerset who's still reeling about our defeat to Durham yesterday (remember lads?) :D

Hope some fans come into the coffee shop off the motorway on the way back from Surrey and give me something to do tonight..

well 115 the target, first 4 overs the key imo
Fred owes you a couple of wickets. Hopefully one of them will be Fat Gray! :p

Be interesting to see if Symonds goes seam or spin tonight too. Seems to be a bit in the pitch for both.

I remember it, I still remember the game last season where Durham chased 450ish to win by 1 wicket, Breese did most of the damage in that chase as well as this week.

I'd be reeling if it wasn't par for the course these days........

Freddie gets his mate Tresco out - he'll remind him of that on Monday I'm sure. A couple more here and Lancashire are right back in it.
