Did anyone else hear that nick on Caddick's fifth ball in his first over? I was certain that was out and then nobody appealed at all... listened on the replay but the commentators were talking over it and I couldn't be sure.
I'm only listening, not watching - can't help you there.

No-ball from Langeveldt, silly boy.

Lancashire will win the final whoever they play - Somerset really fighting back with 3 quick wickets against Leicestershire though.

DEFENIATELY, but it doesn't remove my disappointment of not being able to see another Symo/Freddie combination...

And a run-out to go with it - stunning work from Carl Gazzard, it sounds like. He may not be the greatest batsman in the world, and he's very inexperienced, but he's a bloody good wicketkeeper.

Blackwell for England!! :p He's been bowling really well in all fairness to him. Spin seems to be the key, so I wonder if Fat Gray Smith will bowl himself?

Leics batting like novices too, which is helping Somerset.

Fat Gray probably won't bowl - I don't think he has a lot of faith in his own bowling, especially not in a tight run chase. Hildreth will probably bowl soon, he's been useful in Twenty20 this year, and Durston seems to be keeping it fairly tight - they'll probably bowl until Caddick, Langeveldt and Parsons bowl the last few.

Durston did v well. About the slowest seamer I've seen, but kept it v tight. Langeveldt gave Allenby some width, which is a mistake as he seems to score most of his runs on the off-side.

Another change, another wicket! Good captaincy from the porcine Saffie.

& I've realised Durston is a spinner now! Not really getting much turn, mind....

Wow! I go away for 10 minutes and Leics now need 17 off the last 5 balls! Thrilling stuff, well bowled Durston and Johnson.

Come on Zummerzet! A scampered single, 16 needed off 4 from Langeveldt.

Nixon swipes on the leg side straight to Smith, turns down the single and backs himself to get 16 off 3!

Langeveldt bowls a wide, bad time for it.

Nixon drives up to Tresco at long-off, they now need 13 off 2, all Langeveldt needs to do is not bowl any extras.

Nixon comes through for 2, 11 needed off the last ball, Somerset are through to the Twenty20 Final, despite the fact that Nixon hits the last ball for 6! A thrilling game, and the Cidermen progress to the Finals to play the Lancashire Lightning! Come on the Sabres!

Quite, quite magnificent captaincy by Graeme Smith the way he marshalled his troops.

Enormous contribution by Porky Blackwell with the ball to set the whole thing up - they'll be drinking Zoider and eating Paaaaasties in old Zummerzet tonight

(until Lancashire kick their brains out)

How ironic! Really don't know what to make of my team maybe bringing some silverware home, but its cheap, gold plated, tacky silverware... Oh well, haven't even been tempted to watch a ball yet, much to the bemusement of my parents who don't understand why I don't like it :D I guess I'll just have to be happy for Smith and Langes...

Well, big GCS is going to have to keep up the captaincy skills if they want to beat Lancashire. A fantastic effort by Smith, and an amazing recovery by Somerset. As a Sabres fan, I'm praying that Blackwell has been writing down everything Smith has been doing this summer.

The lads are going to need to step it up again in the final though - we tend to do better batting first, so it's a crucial toss, especially seeing as Flintoff and Symonds were able to play themselves into decent nick this morning just in time to destroy us if they get the chance.

It's a real shame that you maintain such an attitude - one really which is more in keeping with the thoughts of CricketWeb's more ridiculous resident silly person than you.

If it was truly as 'Mickey Mouse' as you seem to think, do you think that the players themselves would be so delighted to win - and more to the point, so utterly gutted when they lose?

Do yourself a favour, take your head out of your biltong paaaasty and watch the final in an hour or so - you really might enjoy it.

It's more 'Donald Duck'

Or does anyone know any sites that I can sign up for text updates for say every few overs?
I have no idea about WAP sites I'm afraid, you're better off just taping the highlights on C4 at 12.10am for an hour. I'm assuming you're still going to be out at 12.10 of course - it is Saturday, after all.
