Another ton for Newman today, currently 127* as Surrey look like salvaging a draw against Kent, 201-0.

Some good performances by back-up or future prospect this year.

Newman 642runs@80.25
Key 646@64.6
Joyce 693@77.00
Cook 787@65.75

Key seems to be taking out his disappointment of not playing in the just concluded test on the surrey bowlers

Oh dear! Marc'll be reaching for the hemlock soon! :D

Hoffman looks like he's bowling v well. Not an overly Scottish sounding surname tho; another Saffie ringer?

He's never played for anyone but the Scots, though. 12 FC wickets @ 17 (Intercontinental, mostly), 38 List-A wickets @ 39 (econ 4.28)

A poor end to the innings, but this Stratford wicket played poorly in the County game (over in 2 days) so you never know (although the fact we've only picked 4 bowlers is a worry!)

very odd game going on between Warwickshire & the scottish boys, the bears bowled out shamlessly for 113 & the scottish lasds just need 10 to win with 2 wickets in hand.

could be a tense finish
