Good day for Lancs, no chance of the result of course (blummin southern weather ) but Murali took 5 and we got full bowling points, then we mullered 351-3 from 56.1 overs with Sutcliffe 151(139), Hodge 110*(112) and Flintoff 29*(21) so we managed to salvage 11 points.

right on day pretty good that was for us, by the way are you going to any day of the ashes test here or the ODI vs BAN

Me and my dad tried to get tickets for the 1st day of the 2nd test, but there none left except for some extortionately price ones, but I should be going to one of the Natwest Series games.

yeah, i got given a priority booking form when i went to the WI test last year but i managed to throw it away, luckily we are on the mailing list so we got an application form, the credit card has been charged so we must have the tickets. They weren't too bad, 25quid for where we usually sit which is a decent view from mid off/fine leg

Didn't know some tickets had gone up that much, AFAIK mine is 25quid for the same place as last year which was 18 quid, for the Ashes i don't have a problem with that.

interesting, the local paper, writing on his most recent match for Littleborough (he scored an unbeaten ton but there was no mention of any wickets) said that hed signed for Cheshire..obviously it was wrong
