Leics posted 177 in the final. Should be hard to get. Radio commentary is now in the hands of talksport (it seems a long time since we heard from Messrs Cowdrey and Bannister) after 5Live Sports extra did the semis.

Yep - ooh the ball is going somewhere... lets switch to some part of the ground and wait a bit longer to figure out what's going on.

Have not listened to Talksport’s coverage today but there treatment of cricket in the past was always pretty acceptable (Tours of West Indies and South Africa), not so today it would seem.

Well it's just annoying really, I think they must have come up with the idea from a 'jobs for the boys' brainstorming session. Whenever the ball travels towards a certain part of the ground they switch to another commentator who's stationed in that area.

Anyway seems like this could be a close game.

Not gonna be so close if Hussey and Fleming stay around. [Langeveldt mode]Anyway Twenty20 championing mediocre cricketers again[/Langeveldt mode]

Oh dear, Fleming hits a full toss to fine leg...

My wife asked me earlier, "Jeremy Snape ... wasn't he the fat bloke from that Airport programme?"

I expect it's an old joke on here though.

Don't really see Notts doing it now.

And now it's raining - hard. 37 wanted off three overs. No idea who the winner would be on D/L (does anyone know?)

Soooo... how close was that last ball to being a no-ball?

Also where the hell are the highlights on terrestrial? Where?

It was on 5 Live as well - quite a good way to go about it I thought, very relaxed attitude and using current players.

Waist high full-toss. Bumble called it straight away. Woulda been hilarious to see yer Foxes jib it from there (sorry, Jamee!).

Nowhere. Five are not following in Channel 4's footsteps as far as county cricket is concerned.
