Wonder how many journos descend to using "shrecked" tomorrow?
Yep - ooh the ball is going somewhere... lets switch to some part of the ground and wait a bit longer to figure out what's going on.stumpski said:Leics posted 177 in the final. Should be hard to get. Radio commentary is now in the hands of talksport (it seems a long time since we heard from Messrs Cowdrey and Bannister) after 5Live Sports extra did the semis.
Have not listened to Talksport’s coverage today but there treatment of cricket in the past was always pretty acceptable (Tours of West Indies and South Africa), not so today it would seem.Scaly piscine said:Yep - ooh the ball is going somewhere... lets switch to some part of the ground and wait a bit longer to figure out what's going on.
Well it's just annoying really, I think they must have come up with the idea from a 'jobs for the boys' brainstorming session. Whenever the ball travels towards a certain part of the ground they switch to another commentator who's stationed in that area.TT Boy said:Have not listened to Talksport’s coverage today but there treatment of cricket in the past was always pretty acceptable (Tours of West Indies and South Africa), not so today it would seem.
It was on 5 Live as well - quite a good way to go about it I thought, very relaxed attitude and using current players.stumpski said:Leics posted 177 in the final. Should be hard to get.
