Rather embarrassing for Nottinghamshire, only David Hussey a ‘proper’ batsman who has seen pace and bounce once or twice had a clue of how to deal/cope with Flintoff.

As for the rest, their charade of attempting to make it out as some sort of minefield was beautifully executed, Old Trafford was Sabina Park of the 1980’s and Andrew Flintoff was now Joel Garner.

Looks (dare I say it) a tad leaner than he had of late too. Think he's been puttimg in the hard yards in his absence.
 Funnily enough, my mum thinks the opposite. "He's put on a few pounds, hasn't he?" Bloody strange how two people can have completely opposite views on something like that...

In your Mum's defence he did have a big sweater on.

Cameron White continues to show the Australian selectors he is deserving of a contract and he should be playing in the top end series right now.

How he doesn't get man of the match is beyond me, who hits 141* in a 20 over match?

Actually, Hoggy, you're spot on, as Cameron White's non-selection for Australia A has really puzzled me. Team dynamics, perhaps? Even so, when he's in this form he'd be damn useful up there.

Didn't get MoM because they lost, obviously...

Should that automatically preclude someone from being awarded MoM? Maybe if it's a close call, but otherwise not IMHO.

World record 20/20 score I believe.
Yes Somerset scored 250 in their first home match, & yes White hit a world record score, but they've either lost or tied every other match they've played so far :@

I'm surprised you're bothered. I thought you'd be satisfied by gawking at some biceps and the odd smile.

I just looked at the scorecard of a match involving Warwicks and Northants, and it seems Northants have at least four overseas players. We know Klusener and Ganguly are obviously the international players here, but how do Charl Pietersen and Matt Nicholson fit in?

Pretty sure Pietersen is Kolpak, Nicholson probably the same.

Nicholson even played one Test for Australia and returned with reasoably good figures. I had first seen him in action against the Indians in a tour practice match, and he had bowled significantly better than Shaun Tait, who played for Australia in the 2005 Ashes. What happened to him?

How come Lance isn't a Kolpak?
Still fancies a recall to the national colours, maybe?

Think Nicholson has UK passport, BTW, so not technically a Kolpak player. Steve Crook's an Aussie too, so he may be in same boat. & there's Wessels jnr too, obv.

Ah it's always great listening to Glamorgan playing Twenty20 on the radio, you can sense how absolutely gutted the Welsh commentators are when they're getting beat.
