Have to say that it's a bit of a shame that the CC champions aren't going to be in the top division of the one day league next year...
Have to say, it's not a shame that Essex are so bad.

What amazes me about the Totesport table is that the side with the best NRR of all went down.

Compare Worc's Run rate to Middlesex's. Bit of a joke i think!

I can't wait to see Lancashire v Yorkshire next season, this time in 2005 in Division 2 and hopefully Stephen Fleming is a Surrey player.

Do you really want to see such a one sided affair? Unless you're a Lancashire fan( :D ), watching Lancashire beat Yorkshire in 2 and a bit days won't be much fun

Well from a Kent view that has to be one of the worst season's in years - Bar 2nd in the CC :) - Relagation in the one day league and now one of our best batsman (Ed Smith) is "going" to join Middlesex (of all teams), I mean at least go and join a team that is better than us :p

Oh well next season we will be back... hopfully we wont lose Saggers for 3/4 of the season and all the youth be bought through this season will be better off for the experiance and really shine next season.

Highlight: Rob Key - Welcome back to the world of form!, hopfully more of those runs to come next season.

Dissapoinment: David Stiff - Regarded as the next England quick, he has the pace (90+ mph) and he has that Harmy hight/bounce thing going on, but OMG has anymore seen more No-balls in the first 5 matches of the season!!!! (for those that didn't see, Kent were giving away 40 odd extras PER INNINGS!) - Never recovered and only got recalled for the final match of the season.... Expect better things from him next summer.

On the subject of Stiff, we played a St James School (Choirboy school in Grimsby; Independent; No Good at Cricket; Whacked us heavily once when we dropped their opener 11 times in his 85*), and their top three was Stiff, Woodham and Doors.

Amused some 13 year olds, that did.

And I forgot to congratulate Matthew Hoggard for his fantastic effort on Sunday - 89* shows just how much he's come on as a batsman.

Pity Kirby got out after an hour plus 10th wicket stand of 50odd (when Kirby didn't make double figures)
