Simon Cook was an outstanding bowling in one dayers for Middlesex...really shocked he left...as for a swap for Ed Smith...he's out of contract so i cant see how he could be used in a swap.

Iam sure county teams will be running scared, 3 wickets and they will be home and dry as our All Rounders are hardly All Rounders.
And to top it all off, apprantly the bosses don't like to rush things in this part of the country and your probley see us sign a couple nobodies as overseas players as by the time they get around to it everyone good will have been taken, I mean in the nicest possible way the names banded around like A Hall and B Hogg are well rubbish.
Rumours flying about is that Kevin Piterson is going to leave Notts and come and join us (only 12 or so other counties saying the same) lets just hope England don't pick him so he can actually play once in a while.
And to top of a wonderful day they feel the need to sign yet another big wig as some sort of director to go with the 3 we already have so that's the spending pot down the drain, it's amazing how the other counties seem to do fine with just one!
Oh and the captain, Fulton re-named now while I don't have a major issue with it, the guy can't play OD cricket to save his life he is still is yet to score a OD ton, wouldn't get remotly close to the team if he wasn't captain the only reason he has been retianed (after many have called for his head) goes back to a fun filled match vs Worcs at New Road where the stand in captain intresting Ed Smith apprantly rubbed have the team up the wrong way and they all refused to do anything he said and it got so bad that Fulton had to come on as a sub while he had an injury to lead the side.
It's a joke, now I would like to say thank you for the oppotunity to get that off my mind and back to the nice topic

Brad Hogg's a top batsman on last season's form, will slot into that top four nicely!

If Kent were to sign Hogg it would be as an All Rounder and Hogg's bowling was well not good this season and if we have to have an All Rounder i'll rather have a real All Rounder such as Symo back or maybe Oram he has done pretty well
