At this stage who do people think have been the form batsman/men and bowler/s in CC1 and 2?

Robert Key springs to mind with the bat.

Surely the stocks weren't that barren last year v South Africa to bring back Bicknell or call up Leatherdale.
Why not Bicknell - you know with him what you're going to get, and at the time it was exactly what was needed as a short term fix.

Leatherdale has less chance of playing for England than Neil or I.

Perhaps England Dropped a Clanger by not Picking Solanki after his Off Spin show and it was Flighted

*Marc71178 will not appove of this*
Neither will anyone with an ounce of common sense.

Mark Wagh took a 7fer last year, but that doesn't make him anything more than a part-timer.

Solanki doesn't even qualify for that moniker.

Solanki still averages 24 that not bad in one day cricket,

Depends what for.

If it's someone who can be relied on for 5 or 6 economical overs then yes.

If it's an opening batsman then no.

An upset on the cards against Worcs  . Sriram took 3 wkts :) . Scotland's batting is strengthened with the inclusion of Reifer .

Well Kent have signed S.Afridi as cover and while at first I was a bit gutted they hadn't taken up the Bevan idea as they did say he would be coming anyway for Symo... I then noticed that the most of the games Mr Afridi will be playing will be 20/20 matches and the thought of Afridi and Symo teaming up is scary!

Potentially the best 2 20/20 players in the world. Not a bad deal for Kent :)

I am presuming they will both open??

I can just imagine the two of them trying to out do each other at the expense of the poor bowlers.
