Hmmm Harmison, S.Jones and Hoggard (Flintoff as the all-rounder). Then there is Caddick (who I give little chance of playing for England again because of his age), Richard Johnson, and James Kirtley and then there is Anderson.

I wouldn't expect Scott Newman to ever be picked for England as a bowler though, so I question the relevance of that list?!

Marcus North handing out a beating to Worcestershire bowlers.

91* off 92 balls with 9 fours and 5 sixes. And Durham on 204/1 off 32.4 overs.

As do the Bears!

Wonder what odds you'd get on Surrey to go down?
Fair Point :D

But I still fancy us just as we play Northants, your lads have to travel down south to the County Champs, you might win but I would say it's a harder game.

Mind you Mid'*** have been a turn up for the books, were hardley mentioned in the pre-season build up but the overseas bowlers have certianly given them an edge with their powerful young batting line-up. Hayward is finally actually trying in games it appears, last season I watched a game on Sky where he bowled his slower ball as his stock ball and only bowled about 10 normal deliveries, needless to say he was hammered for about 75 runs that day :D

Anyone watching the Gloucs vs Surrey game on Sky at the momment.... Is it just me or is the Gloucs overseas player S.Malik bowling with a really bent arm? (Could just be a baggy shirt though)

As long as it stays bent then its perfectly legal. Its only if he straightens it that it becomes a throw!

This is unbelievable.

Scores for England hopefuls and England currents this weekend.

Strauss - 107*
Collingwood - 102*
Hussain - 102
Butcher - 184
Thorpe - 89
Jones - 101
Key - 114 & 117*
Giles - 70

A complete runs fest for almost all of the England hopefuls (I added Key because he has played for England and it makes the list look better :p).

Good stuff. :)

Haha it's just because your a Kent fan really ;) - What about M.Carberry in great form this season he hit 75 too.

Don't forget Neil's man Ramps hit 77 & Clarke got 41 (well it's an improvment isn't it ;) ) :D

Alex Gidman of Gloucs hit a nice half century as well, and the Essex opener Cook did well also... more of the next generation, but still good to see :)

I was actually refering it to England's bowler's of Hoggard, Jones and Harmison.

Maybe I misunderstood what you wrote?

I think you'd see a rule change before that happened.
Just ask the Peru FA for advice on rule changes to prevent one of the 'big sides' going down.

Don't have to go to football - I think the Pakistanis amended a cup structure last year when Inzy's team got knocked out?
