What are Kadeer Ali's stats looking like right now???

I thought it was something like a FC average of 16 odd in about 30 innings.... And he is a specialist bat...

He must think every day is Christmas :)

I think it's pushing 19 now.

If I were a Surrey fan, I'd be looking for a rope and a tree.

Warwickshire 493-6
Brad Hogg 156* (160b, 19x4, 1x6)
Ashley Giles 60* (116b, 4x4)

They've added 187 in 156 minutes for the seventh wicket!
How flat is the wicket. Maybe I would fancy myself for a 30 or 40 odd?

Well I'm glad Craig Spearman got a ton, a pity he couldnt do it on a big stage.

Is he actually elidgble for England since he holds an EU Passport and is counted as an overseas player for Central Districts.

I also realise he has next to no chance of playing for England.

International Regular
I think because Anderson has come back and they didnt't want to drop Martin or Cork. Shame really, he needs a full season, who knows where it could put him for next year.

howcome sajid mahmood isnt playing for lancashire?
He's a young fast bowler whos only in his 2nd full season, and he wasnt a 1st team regular last season. I think its very wise for Lancashire to rest him, at least for the game when they have Anderson avaliable to replace him.

Napier, Middlebrook and Habib doing the business for Essex. :)
100-odd for five and all out for 437. Can't argue with that. :cool2:

On a side note, I never knew Andy Flower is from South Africa. According to Cricinfo, he is from Cape Town.

Well seeing as the Warwickshire "dream" spin pairing of Mark Wagh and Jim Troughton (neither of whom are any great performers with the ball) shared 39 overs for 69 runs - I imagine it's the Surrey bowlers who didn't do their job!

James Kirtley has figures of 7-6-1-3 against a University Center for Cricketing Excellence.
That's nothing, Jim Troughton (see post above this one) took 3-1 against one of the UCCEs!

Kent had a pretty good day today...

Dismissed the last 8 New Zealand wickets for just over 100 runs and then smashed 300 from just 65 overs, can't complain there... now just need England to do the same :D

Oh im sure even the UCCE's are pretty hot cricketing outfits.....

However they arent county sides, so they shouldnt be expected to perform as such... If they played test cricket, they wouldnt be bottom...
