*Official* England in West Indies

Powell's a decent ODI bowler TBF to him.
Stick by that statement? :P

Starting again at 4:45. England looking for 270 I reckon, and if they get there then it's going to be a very tough chase for West Indies. You'd hope that Broad, Anderson, Harmison and Dimi will bowl better than the tripe West Indies have offered up, especially Powell, awful bowling from him.

With 7 wickets left I reckon England would be disappointed with 270 at this stage, an awful lot is going to ride on the gayle sarwan opening partnership, they bat fairly deep with Ramdin at 8 too.

Not seen a ball of this game so this is all a guess.

Is this another one of those games where England aim for 250 in order to make it look like they tried but in reality they tried to make it close rather than going for the win?

It's one of those really slow pitches that makes it hard to score but not particularly hard to stay at the wicket if you don't take many risks - you know, the worst kind for ODIs. 250-260 probably about par, but the West Indies have bowled absolute ****e for the most-part.

270 should be a breeze from him. 300 if this PowerPlay comes off.

Windies have bowled poor but that is no surprise considering what they have out there. Kieron Pollard is a serious pie-merchant.

Making a meal out of this, wasted two and half overs so far and the biggest hitter just got out to a nothing part-timer and the type of bowler, Mascarenhas kills.

Am I the only one that feels like throwing the TV out of the window in response to this heap of **** power play batting?

They couldn't have gotten less ****ing runs if they'd tried. 17-2 against two garbage bowlers at this stage of the innings..
