I don't see how Pakistan is on equal footing at the moment. They are 2 down (likely three before long), still 19 runs in the deficit, need to play out the whole of today AND score around 350 runs to have any chance of winning the game...
My thoughts exactly.

Well Fred had Butt caught of a no-ball first up, Sami has gone now. Inzi has dragged himself away from the kitchen (colloquially named the Inzamam-ul-Haq Enclosure) and is ready for lunch. I mean ready to bat for lunch. If he's not out at lunch Bob gives him an extra pie.

Don't know about 350. Fact is they've only lost 2 batsmen and they're bowling last. The only reason they're not really even is because they've got an ordinary tail and their top order aint crash hot.

If they bat well though they could set England 220-250 which England could easily mess up.

I took it as meaning 350 in total producing a lead of over 200.

250 would be optimal but it's a long way off.

BTW, whilst Flintoff and Harmy are bowling excellently, Eng needs someone else to stand up bacause those 2 cant do it alone for 3 tests.

they looked to be doing it tough in the heat yesterday......I'm assuming it was hot anyway - looked hot on the telly. What is the temp anyway?

this game is just so evenly pised right now, Butt & Inzi batting Pakistan into a good position all England need to do is patient, something will come their way...

Could start to reverse pretty soon, but the wicket still looks pretty good. Pak will need to be ahead by 400 to be safe
 It'll take them till at least halfway through day 5 to get 400 ahead. Assuming they don't get bowled out, I think they'll probably declare mid-morning tomorrow with a lead a little over 300.

nah dont thinkPakistan need so much to be safe, a simple 250 lead will be very challenging.

FOUR! and then a one. Moves to 99

Inzi on strike and FOUR! Inzi completes a well deserved fifty.

lunch on day 4. Butt remains on 99. Great match. Udal seems to totally suck.

There's 11 overs until the new ball - that's critical now. I've only been up a bit but the Pakistani batsmen seem to be having no trouble at all. The home side have fought back superbly.
