***Official*** England in Pakistan

As others have said, it could very well be the pivotal point in this test match. Both were looking very comfortable at the crease.

Must say that Ive been pretty impressed with Tresco's captaincy.

Eng have lost nothing in that dept. with Vaughan's absence.

I didn't realise you were a girl
I am not. :D

But I hear they are producing those nifty artificial wombs these days...

:p

Harmison and Flintoff tried to bounce Butt out. Almost did work.

That was a great fightback partnership from Butt & Khan, it was a joy to watch, shame Khan got out with not long to go. Both teams in with a chance of winning now. If England had a quality spinner they just may be in a better position.

If Pakistan can get to a lead of 100 tomorrow without losing a wicket (or just Sami), it'll make it a very interesting game I reckon.

So the next time you come on strong to Shabbir, it's ok for us to say Get a womb, you two?

He impressed me a great deal the last time he skippered as well.

IIRC didn't he refuse to the take the second new ball and gave Simon Jones a long spell with pretty devestating consequences?

Who would have been your two ODI openers for the Rest Of The World?

See I can see what you're saying in regards to dropping someone for Treschothick. Where I disagree is who you are dropping. Gayle is a better ODI player than Sehwag nowadays. He's better than Afridi too, and Sangakkara has only recently been made into a ODI opener. So why drop Gayle? Drop Sehwag.
I don't know, I just don't rate Gayle that much. There isn't that much, in my eyes, dividing Sehwag and Gayle on ODI's. Apart from Gayle's ability to bowl a little better than Sehwag, and Sehwag's tendency to try too hard [even though, at times, Gayle is guilty of this.] for me, it should've been Trescothick and Sehwag, but what does it matter anyway. Futile.

So this is totaly ignoring Gayle's ability to average almost 40 in ODIs whilst not trying hard enough? However you look at it 40 will always be > 30.

Yeah, honestly, if I had to pick out of the two to bat for me I'd pick Sehwag so accept opinion is a wonderful thing and move on.
You're new, I can tell ( :D )

Off-spinner (Malik, I ,think)

Hit him middle and off, going on to hit middle. Playing a sweep at the time. Looked plumb with the naked eye and worse with the aid of technology.

Umpiring has been really, reall bad.
Know what one you mean, but can't see how you thought it hit him in line. It hit on the back pad, which was outside the line (front pad wasn't).

34.6 Flintoff to Younis Khan, OUT: Gone, what a waist of a wicket

I agree. He should have belted it. Showed no stomach for a fight - he'll be gutted.
