***Official*** England in Pakistan

Whatever it takes!!!
Nothing wrong in playing one's natural game, IMO. Plus, England will be attacking, so the opportunity is there to pick up some quick runs.

Agreed. I think this score by England is a par score on this track if Pakistan would have batted with application this game would have been on even scale at the momonet.

Shabbir's list of Test Match bunnies:

3 CO Browne, K Mahmud, M Rafique, JDP Oram, T Baisya
2 CH Gayle, RD King, RJ Peterson, RR Sarwan, GC Smith

So you either need to be a) crap, b) a left hander who plays too many shots, c) both or d) Ramnaresh Sarwan
Who looks silly now then, Mr Pickup? :p

Tea couldn't come quick enough for England, and we're seeing the full disadvantage of England not being able to extend their innings into the 3rd session today. Full credit to the Pakistani batsmen though, who have been brilliant.

England need a big session after tea - they won't fancy chasing too many on Day 5.

In a World XI side should Chris Gayle really need to bowl? Honestly?
Who would have been your two ODI openers for the Rest Of The World?

See I can see what you're saying in regards to dropping someone for Treschothick. Where I disagree is who you are dropping. Gayle is a better ODI player than Sehwag nowadays. He's better than Afridi too, and Sangakkara has only recently been made into a ODI opener. So why drop Gayle? Drop Sehwag.

Consecutive 50s for Salman Butt in this match. Pakistan looking good at 115/1. Only trail by 29 runs.

Abysmal shot from Younis.

Short, wide & not particularly quick produced catching practice.

Cricinfo strikes:

34.6 Flintoff to Younis Khan, OUT: Gone, what a waist of a wicket

I agree. He should have belted it. Showed no stomach for a fight - he'll be gutted.
