***Official*** England in Pakistan

really, the captaincy here is pretty horrendous. Not having a cover-point for Geriant Jones at this stage of the game and having only one slip and gully for Shabbir, easily the bowler who has moved it the most?

Right now I'm too busy drooling over that cover drive to care!

Whereas they are seperate games essentially, they are both cricket matches and to me, Trescothick is a much better batsman than Gayle.
But in ODI terms, Gayle's a much better all rounder.

England r quite near reaching 400.They really played well & also Trescothick shouldn't forget to thank Billy Bowden for great display of racism in the match. He is one of the worst umpires i've ever seen.I think the local umpires should supervise matches rather than the neutral ones. And for matches in Pakistan, they should be Shakeel Khan & Shakoor Rana.I'm sure they aren't as unfair as Billy Bowden is.
Shakoor Rana's dead.

As far as your other rubbish is concerned - chill out.

Pakistan have really fought back well, although at 400 or so England are still very much in the ascendancy. I've not seen so much movement off the seam outside Headingley for quite some time.

How BEAUTIFUL was the Kaneria ball to Pietersen! Amazing stuff, Big Kev didn`t pick it at all. Wish I could watch this series...

Shabbir's bowling = bad?

Bad in the sense that he could have gotten the whole English team out If he had pitched it correctly. But certainly not bad in the context of the match, and to be able to extract this ammount of seam movement...

Pakistani bowler's haven't done badly. 400 is about the expected score on this sort of a wicket, and if you look at the english batting, no one except for Trescothick and Ian Bell really got going - Pieterson, Strauss and Collingwood straight out failed.

Its our *shock, horror, de javu* batting that has let us down, again.

Wasn't this place similar to the M25 when Pakistan batted?
And for the most part when England did. I've only been watching the last half hour so can't really comment on what's gone on earlier today, but it seems to be darting about now. Could be the ball, of course.

Bad in the sense that for a lot of yesterday he wasted delivery after delivery outside off stump and was completely unthreatening. He's been much improved with the new ball today.
