Looks like Pakistan are folowing the Pointing/Gilchrist school of umpire relations & sportsmenship.

We did say that it was only Warney who we couldn't play! Kaneria's not bowling badly, but we're playing pretty well - Bell in particular was very assured with picking the variations.
Again it shows the class of Warne in that Bell could barely score a run off Warne in the Summer yet was able to milk Kaneria pretty easily.

Wow, can't believe Trescothick's still going. Pakistan should still have a decent chance if they keep the lead under 150.

I think Shoaib's broken. 75-80mph for four balls (including the wicket ball, incredibly)

And now they take the newey. Let's see if he can get some pace up...

Good god, that' ball sure is moving for Shabbir. Only if he can put it in the right place.
Aye, he's starting it three feet outside off, and it's ending up six feet outside...

I know it's been said before but Shabbir's action is terrible. I can't believe that it is legal. That been said I don't think England will be protesting too much 8-)

Perhaps he took umbrage at your words?

That last ball would have beaten better batsmen than Jones.

Trescothick 189* at lunch with the lead 97. Marcus is now tied with Ricky Ponting as top scorer in the calendar year on 1,216 runs. They're equal 25th in the all-time list.

As long as it is legal, being horrible doesn't matter one whit.
Did you see the slow motion of his action? Even Waqar Younis said intimated that it didn't look legal.

If I were Pakistani, my disappointment at bIlly's umpiring would've been almost too much to bear.

Tresco has played beautifully but was gone on 46 and absolutely plumb again when he was well past 150.

Flintoff was ordinary and given not out when absolutely dead earlier on.

Pakistan havent been much good in the field but the NZed'ers umpiring has been nothing short of appalling.

I do not care if Don Bradman comes back from the grave to call it illegal, electric equipments are a far better judge in this matter than human eye can ever be.

By all means call his action horrible, crooked blah blah blah but unless ICC intimates the flexation has been found to exceed 10 (15?) degrees, It cannot be deemed illegal.

*Shrugs*

They have only themselves to blame for Trescothic still being there. Umpiring decisions can go either way - *****ing about them is of no use.

Edit: ***** is a swear word. Hmmm.

Which was the Flintoff one? I recall two LBW shouts to him - one that was going a decent way down leg side and another that hit him outside the line of off.

I think your words will fall on deaf ears, Beleg. Social has seen an opportunity to continue his gripe about the umpiring during the Ashes (whilst claiming to be a 'neutral' commentator) so I doubt he'll let it go.
